Yes you can but you will have to sand it with Sandpaper first to help the stones adhere because on smooth surfaces the stones could peel off. E600 could help them stick on smooth surfaces but for longer lasting results, it's best to sand the surface. Hope this helps! đŸ„°â€

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy Pƙed rokem

      Hi Lyndsay! So I have done them both ways but if I was ever in a rush I just cleaned the lid and used e6000. For the times that I used liquid fusion on the lid I have always used a rotary tool to sand with because of how smooth the lid is and those textured edges on the lid. Then I cleaned & dried and the liquid fusion was perfect! If you don't sand the lid and use liquid fusion it will definitely stick, but not for long. The whole thing will just peel off.

    Hey girl in your experience which glue would be better for a thermos/ thermal cup .i want to make a gift for someone and i want it it to be good quality glue sp the rhimestones dont fall off when washing. Also do you use resin or glass rhimestones?

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy Pƙed rokem

      Heyyyy!! Sorry I'm late 😔 but for long lasting results, I recommend e6000 but make sure you're in a well ventilated space and use a face mask. The fumes can be a bit much. Also, make sure you sand your cup with sand paper first and then wash and dry it. (With stainless steel surfaces you don't always have to sand, especially when using e6000 but always make sure to either wash and dry first or rub it down with rubbing alcohol & let dry before blinging.) For the rhinestones, I like both however the glass rhinestones sparkle a lot more than the resin but they are also more fragile since it's glass. If you drop a cup made with resin rhinestones it's less likely to have breaks or cracks but if you accidentally drop the glass stones they could crack and break. Resin is beautiful but the sparkle of the glass is on another level! 💎💎💎 Hope this helps đŸ„°â€

      Hi Ellie! That's awesome!! Yes, you can go line by line from top down and start a circle the closer you get to the logo or you can start with the logo and bling about 3 or 4 circular rows and then go to the top and start blinging line by line from top to bottom. Happy Blinging đŸ’ŽđŸ„°

      @elliegray1849 Pƙed rokem

      What do you think would be easier for first timer? Completely going around the cup In Rows or starting with the circle and going up a few rows then starting for the stop? It’s going around the circle and then starting from the top that scares me just incase it doesn’t the rhinestones don’t match up x

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy Pƙed rokem

      @@elliegray1849 When I first started blinging I tried it by doing one circle and then going to the top and working my way down and then I tried just going from the top and just get to the circle when I get there. Doing a few rows of circles and then going to the top was the easiest for me. I know the circle can be a bit intimidating but just take your time when connecting the straight lines to the circles and don't be afraid to use those smaller 3mm sizes. The 3mm rhinestones are what help to make the connection between the lines around the logo and the straight lines look clean and uniformed with minimal gaps.

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy

      Hey!! You're welcome!! Thanks so much for watching!! As far as sanding goes, there could be a chance that the rhinestones will eventually peel off if the case isn't sanded first especially if it's that smooth shiny coated flexible case. If you use e6000 glue, you will get a pretty good hold but still run the risk of it peeling off. If you use glues like liquid fusion and fusion tack there's a huge chance it will come off without sanding. Hope this helps!! Thanks again for watching!! đŸ„°

    I swear i think the pattern you're using is called scatter because they aren't all the same size. If you actually do the honeycomb and use two different sizes it will create gaps. You have the definition right you do place them in between each one but for a honeycomb the pen is very precise and there is little to no spaces and all one size stone

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy Pƙed 2 lety

      Hi Grayson. The scatter pattern uses various different sizes (usually 2mm up to sometimes 10mm) and are picked at random. I'm not sure if you notice, but the majority of this pen was done in 5mm with the honeycomb method, and I used 3mm rhinestones as fillers since sometimes the 5mm rhinestones do not fit evenly around the pen so fillers are needed. Maybe if I had worked going around the pen to reflect that, instead of working going downward then around, it would have represented this better.

    What's the purpose of sanding I'm very curious

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy Pƙed 2 lety

      It allows the glue to adhere better to the case. The phone cases have a very smooth texture and when using liquid fusion or fusion tack on this texture, it could end up peeling off. E6000 would work just fine without sanding but sanding is the safest. Using a piece of sand paper also works very well.

    Hi Jaz, thanks for the video. Do you seal the paint after you paint it? If you don't does the paint wash off when it's cleaned?

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy Pƙed 2 lety

      Hi Penny! I don't usually seal the paint afterwards. The glue I use seals the paint underneath the rhinestones but any extra paint that is left behind does get washed off.
