Awesome! It's great when a soap starts subverting conventions of the genre to keep things fresh and interesting. Some producers are too set in their ways to experiment with anything other than abusing their power behind the scenes. This was a great device to keep the audience watching and waiting all year and ensure good ratings at Christmas, when viewers usually take a break from watching. Shout out to LOST for kicking off (or at least reinvigorating) this convention and congratulations to EE for making it work so well for soap! Nice to know it can be done.

What a brilliant storyline, I've been excited for months! Its good to watch the flashforward again after the Christmas Day episode.

So after all this time it was Nish Panesar on the Vic Floor !!! But he's not dead he's still alive thanks to Suki giving him CPR ! But Keanu Taylor is the death at Christmas after trying to strangle Sharon . Linda stabbed him in the back with a Carving Fork !!

HOLY FUCKING BLOODY HELL!!!!!!!!!! What an episode for the ages of EastEnders!!! Hopefully Nish will still get his comeuppance despite the fact that Keanu is the one who got killed-off in the end. But what'll that mean for The Six then, particularly Linda as she is the one who became the murderer in the end!!!

Suki looked much more sad in tonight's episode than this flash forward. But I guess that's when they didn't know who the victim was.

it’s obviously denise. (film student and future professional film director here). as the sequence progresses, we all see each member of the six, but the camera lasts the longest on denise to capture her reaction and to allow us to wonder what she is thinking. also, the long-shot showcases the full body of denise, which, makes it easier to form connotations. the bottle smashed being one of them, implying she has killed someone, meaning jack

Looking at the flash forward at 1.21/1.22 sharon is kneeled over the body the head looks like its Jay facing towards Denise

I want it to be dean but think it will be jack, nish and ravi seem too obvious. I doubt it's rocky and apart from sharon, and the albie story, keanu, and phil don't really have much to do with the others of the six. Bring on Monday

What's very interesting and clever is that each of the women has a male character in their lives who could end up being the victim. Linda- Dean. Denise- Ravi. Stacey- Theo. Kathy- Rocky. Sharon- Keanu. Suki- Nish.
