    You might want to give that polenta a little more cook time it seems pretty granular still, or check your liquid to dry polenta ratio. 5 parts liquid to 1 part cornmeal normally gets me about there.

    I went to a Wood N Tap and ordered fried calamari with a side of sauce. The sauce was so good I asked what brand it was and they told me it was Tomato Magic from Stanislaus. I work for a food distributor and it turned out we carried it so I bought a case. These tomatoes are so good you don't have to add anything to it. Half of the can I added salt, garlic,basil and olive oil and the other half I added nothing. All I did was heat both sauces to 150° and let it cool; their website has some useful information as well. I thought the sauce with nothing added tasted better. No canned taste either. In the past I've used store brands like Tuttorusso, Red Pack and Cento but Tomato Magic are the best tomatoes I ever had by a longshot.
