Check out the "Norton Hand Scraper and Sharpening Kit" - I've used that and it is super useful and makes it easy to sharpen the tool safely.

have this kind of checkered wood floor but it’s really dark (darker than this image). And I really like how it looks after you sand it. Is it possible to just leave a wood floor like that? I would like it to look like light wood with not too much orange in jt ? What is the best way to achieve this

Whats up man. Just bought a house that is all carpet. I want to refinish all first floor. I kinda feel some dips under the carpet. Part of me thinks they did carpet because its easier to cover up uneven floors by adding extra padding underneath. What would you do?

Paper thin , sand it , stain it ,, it’s all good long as they know what they are doing

Low spots get hand sanded , it’s simple

I have the same kind of floor only mine is solid blocks not finger blocks. I also have some black staining. how do you drum sand that when the grains go back and forth?

Great video

Wider the scraper, the more effort required. All way 1/14" for basic corners. Use a bitch file to sharpen, draw file long way across blade. If one side gets uneven,flip file long way, not the other side. You will know wen it's in sweet spot. Newbie's bring band aids,Krazy glue,duct tape. That is all.
