How to control 😢😢

After raising more species, such as in an aquarium and learning more about nature, I have come to a hypothesis about food and creatures. *DISCLAIMER: **_This is not guaranteed to be scientifically accurate or proven, so don't take this as fact. Just like if you see a person carrying a plate of food, you would assume that person will eat the food and later you see the plate is empty, but they could be carrying dog food to give to their dog, so assuming that the person is ate what was on the plate, due to limited observation and not actually seeing them eat it, can lead to inaccurate and just plain wrong information._* Starving wild deer will eat meat and offensive tasting plants to stay alive. Squirrels will also eat meat if their life depends on it. In my aquarium, I have baby fish and baby shrimp and none seem to get eaten or chased. Also, I have raised predators such as damselflies and dragonflies and their larvae seemed to be fine eating dried fish/turtle/shrimp foods instead of catching and eating baby fish. I believe this is because I supply them with excessive amounts of food. However, my Flagfish will eat 100% of the eyes off my Ramshorn snails (their eye stalks grow back and they don't have good vision and don't really need them as long as there is food everywhere). No matter how many varieties of food I give and how much food I give, the Flagfish will seek out the eyes of the snails. Flagfish are known for eating blackbeard algae which looks the same as black snail eye stalks. I believe this specific species of fish, just really likes to eat these 2 things and will seek it out in spite of anything else offered. Therefore, I conclude: 1. Starving creatures will eat things they do not want to eat. 2. Constantly well fed creatures known to eat other live creatures, may opt for eating food provided in excessive amounts that takes no effort to get and eat instead of catching, killing and eating their normal prey items. (Even toads who are predators, will eat cat food kibble and dog food, even though they will typically ONLY eat what moves). 3. Some creatures will always eat specific things when available, no matter what. I think of it like putting a pizza on a dinner table along with liver or brussel sprouts or whatever other food people typically don't like, and people will just go for the pizza. So, creatures will eat things that may be harmful or toxic, out of starvation. Well fed creatures may prefer easy food. Some creatures have a 100% preference over everything else and there is nothing you can do about that. So, could thirsty mealworms kill and eat pupae for water? I suppose it is possible. I have separated out all my pupae before where there was just beetles, pupae, carrots and oats and they demolished my pupae, so I know for sure the beetles can kill and eat the pupae. I am not an expert. I did not put them under 24/7 surveillance and go back and watch the video footage to be 100% certain exactly what happens, so I could be drawing wrong conclusions. Without doing that, my process is not fully scientific and wrong conclusions can be drawn, due to lack of observation. (not seeing conflicting actions that disprove my limited observations). If I wanted to be certain, I could setup a proper science lab and stress the creatures and know for certain, with documented video proof, but I don't want to go out of my way to intentionally stress any creature. Also, I feel like my observations and assumed conclusions are "good enough" to serve their purpose, while allowing me to be lazy.

I would love to visit someone raising mealworms and do another video, showing them being separated the same was as Super Worms, to MAXIMIZE the population/success rate. I've also read a claim that if you inbreed them too much, they will minimize mating, because they can "smell" they are "family", so it is good to buy some new mealworms every so often to help boost genetic diversity. How often? I don't know, for sure not every generation. Maybe if you see a decline or maybe every 10 generations or once every 1-2 years, buy a little cup of them for a few dollars.

How do you not pick up that skull?! Lol. Add a floor scorcher for more combo points and this is basically the type of setup I used for omd2 skull farming guide which I have a video on..... Although I believe I spammed many floor scorchers on that one but there was a grinder and barricade also involved.

the only thing that will eat the mill worms are the beetles after they pupate. other mealworms will not eat the pupate nor will shaking the pupae cause any kind of deformation. ive been breeding them for years and have never had that happen.
