60) Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2024
Once again at the Adventure Bike Rider festival 2024. As with every year, an amazing weekend away. The whole festival setting, food, drink, music with the added bonus of bikes!
First time there with the insta360 camera so did the beginners grass loop and the Bridgestone Trail. No expert sections!
30km track that I'd say is quite achievable by most levels of rider..... that's pretty much how it's been designed.
There's me rolling around on road tyres. Not expert mode, more like danger mode!?!
The weather was excellent, no hiccups (for me!) on the trail, everybody was well behaved, and didn't drop it this year 😎

So the 2nd day of North Coast 500 stuff. After a more than chilly night camping at John o' Groats set off for a rather long trek round the rest of the route. Across the very north A836, through Durness, round Lochinver, down to Applecross for an also more than chilly decent of the Bealach na Ba pass, then back to Fort William! A really long day. After a few years of filming across the Highlands of Scotland. Have finally managed to jam together some footage of my most recent trip north and do a lap of the North Coast 500 (anti-clockwise). Using some footage from previous years this video is from Fort William to John o' Groats, via Inverness. The weather wasn't great but the views were still amazing.

As it says, our yearly meet with chums from up and down the country has had us do a few laps round Donnington Race Track..... Pretty special, eh? Over 600 harleys took to the track. Some chums and meself did a 3 day stint en France/Belgium. Managed to build a tent and ride round a bit! Got the camping bug, few more to do in the next few months 👍 Enjoy.

Vicki Stevens is terminally ill. One of the items on her bucket list was for herself and her friends to go for a ride on a few Harleys. Word spread and we managed to wrangle over 200 bikes, full police blockade and Escort, to the local Harley dealership who laid on food and music, followed by an after party at the local pub.... not bad, eh!?

Hi love the videos 👍 I have been trying to vlog myself but failing with GoPro and audio problems what set up do you have and how have you got the audio so clear with a open face helmet
2 wheeled chameleon. Using a mic on a ghost drift. Fits much nicer to a lid. Never used a GoPro, wouldn't have a clue how to sort out any sound issues.
Gabbro1983 think Iam gonna have to get a drift they seem much better wich drift are you using ? Thanks for the reply 👍
2 wheeled chameleon I use a Ghost Drift HD. It's 4 years old, but still does the job. Battery lasts about 4 hours, much less when recording on full quality. They got a few newer versions that do really snazzy things. I'll look at those when my one breaks!!

bradley jamie everything before 2:50 we were well ahead of the pack setting up at the junctions.

HI , how do I get involved with Sportster Sickness. I Live in Essex , Benfleet . I don't know anyone and I just bought a sportster 48 . I am 56 and just starting again after 30 plus years not riding. Got to get out soon . oh yes I am also disabled so why I have a bike , Death wish lol

Great video and sound. Sad about the trailer and bike accident. Makes us realise how danger can appear at any moment from the most unexpected direction. I tried to film my own run but not as good and no bike sound even with external Mike I sent camera back next day. What did you use Gabbro? It was really good,thanks
I use a ghost drift. I found the camera mic picks up a lot of wind noise over 50mph. So I always plug a mic in. There's barely any wind noise, even on the motorway, and you still get to hear other bikes on the road.
