Who's Richard Fortus?

​@@kendallevans4079 He's the second guitarist of Guns And Roses. He played with the Furs in early 2000 and produced their last record. He also was member of the side project of Richard Butler "Love Spit Love"

They were so good I was towards the back this venue has booth seat you can buy I was right behind those and it was still pretty close so we had an awesome view the whole night and the sound was so full and thick the drums didn’t overpower the guitars or bass it genuinely sounded great bc I know some venues sometimes drums can overpower the guitars especially the bass drum but that wasn’t the case here it was amazing and I got some awesome angles of the wall of death and circle pits from both bands

No ways! Can't believe those CD's are still around! Where was the store? This was a band we started in the late 90''s and based in JHB (Roodepoort, to be more specific). I am the singer, and we formed the band after the band I was in before this (called Destrage) split up We played a lot of the JHB clubs as well as Durban & Pietermaritzberg with another band at the time called Sacrifist for a few years before they booted me and the bassist (Bruce) out and brought in a new singer because they wanted a more black metal sound. They changed the band name to Crystal Dawn and did really well for a few years after that (if you want the album let me know I have it somewhere and can send it to you on wetransfer). That album you have was recorded in some small house studio in Florida JHB. It's a pity the quality and mixing on that aren't quite right aince being South Africa not many producers back then understood Death Metal or the sound we were after and we didn't have access to the tech we have now. Anyway that's a blast from the past! That vid was us playing our first house gig when we started and practicing in the garage the day before!
