I recently had a pair of tidewe waders and after wearing them all through duck and steelhead season I wore the heel on the inside of the boot completely out. Due to the waders being literally destroyed after a season I definitely don’t recommend tidewe waders unless you get the higher end options.

Top of the line product, if you don't mind spending that kind of money.

Sitka waders are the best waders out there

Why doesn't a company make them out of stainless steel where yopu wouldn't have to do this? Yea they would cost more but less of a hassle

The foam being lighter might even help, once the mud gets in the boat the color will be nice and natural. Came out sick!

I know this is an old video; how do those tide-wes hold up on a long season of trapping? I wreck what feels like a pair of waders per season, and I'm sick of spending tons of money on waders that don't warrant it.

Great video. I'm finding my way through the food plot establishment journey as well. Wanted to suggest that the plot start is not actually a liming, PH changing product. It's made from calcium chloride, so basically a calcium based fertilizer. Calcium carbonate is what actually interacts with hydrogen in soil and changes the PH. Calcium, however, is necessary for healthy plants, so undoubtedly that's why there were noticeable improvements in the plot once u used it. I actually tried the plot start BEFORE throughly researching it and had similar results. I found that Plot Dr. Liquid Lime worked much better at what I was actually trying to accomplish. It is derived from actual calcium carbonate-the same as lime mined from the quarries. The Plot Dr. increased my PH as I hoped for, and did it very quickly. Now, I wouldn't say it's the end all be all because results will be short lived-thats kind of the pay off...quick results, shorter duration. I use the Plot Dr as a supplement to pelletized lime. Pelletized lime can be spread with any broadcast spreader so it eliminates having to get a lime truck to deliver and spread the lime. Now, pelletized isn't as economical as tons of ag lime, but keep in mind, it doesn't have to go down all at once. I use a pull behind spreader and do several 40lb bags at a time, multiple times a year. This is for the long(er) game. So the Plot Dr gets me there relatively quickly, the pelletized lime maintains and will keep me there. Follow up soil tests annually will tell me what I need to do to further refine and keep it optimal once I get where I want to be. Those are Great grinders. My only complaint is that darn guard up on the feeding plate. Seems like it only gets in the way. I personally went with a LEM. Once you start grinding your own meat you always regret not getting a grinder sooner!

The course is loaded with beavers and muskrats. Always damming the water up leading to the swamp in the woods we duck hunt. Went back end of summer/fall to prep and the swamp was dry as a bone.
