I think I found someone who loves Pocahontas and John Smith more than me. They’re my favorite couple, princess and prince along Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Lion King is my all time favorite movie, 2 Tangled 3 Pocahontas. I do agree the waterfall encounter is the second most beautiful scene ever created, my favorite is I See the Light. Agreed the ending to Pocahontas as sad (and to me felt unfinished) and heartbreaking it was it definitely is one of the most iconic endings.

Aww! So happy Pocahontas and John Smith got first! Despite I say the forest kiss instead, the farewell kiss is too sad for me because they remain the only Disney couple without a happily ever after :’( Also Anya and Dmitri’s was so cute because of Pooka. I would’ve put Odette and Derek higher, oh well Also where’s Tangled?? My top 5 would go: 1. Pocahontas and John Smith forest kiss- has EVERYTHING especially because of the music, emotions, artstyle, like the only downside was obviously Kocuom unable to control his rage watching the woman he loved be in love with someone else, especially a savage. Despite they’re my favorite couple I still feel bad for him 2. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider both- 2nd Disney couple that actually caressed each other instead of merely hugging. Also I find it hilarious and awesome Rapunzel leads both times. If only they kissed on the boat, it would’ve easily been 1 😫 3. Aladdin and Jasmine balcony kiss. I really love how Carpet kinda made Aladdin do it, and Jasmine clearly enjoyed it 4. Tarzan and Jane- I actually really love how she’s a bit embarrassed because of how unladylike it was, but Tarzan simply mimics her 5. Belle and Beast- despite he looked so much better as a beast, I do kinda like how they’re just looking deep into each other’s eyes 6. Aurora and Philip- despite they hardly knew each other, I do like how innocent this kiss was, and Philip merely smiles waiting for her to awake to her prince, knowing she’s going to be ok. Plus the dude had to fight a freaking dragon sorceress, so he earned that kiss 7. Lady and Tramp- iconic yet sweet and very clever. I do kinda like the kiss with Scamp and Angel too, but can’t compete with the original 8. Hercules and Meg- often times I see them rank pretty high, like above Pocahontas, Belle, Jasmine (etc) I personally don’t find the kiss itself THAT wow, not counting Herc choosing her over being a god. But still kinda cute with Meg pulling him closer (instead of him pulling her) 9. Kiara and Kovu- the other one in Love Will Find a Way, I actually love how Kiara just licks him and he’s a bit surprised but immediately smiles 10. Pocahontas and John Smith farewell kiss- I really love how this kiss is more realistic and mature considering the mature but sad ending as Pocahontas chose to stay with her people and insisted he return to London to recover. They’re literally caressing each other as to never forget how they feel, because they both knew this was probably the last time they’d ever see each other ever again. Like I actually melt a little when their lips separate, his eyes are still closed because he can’t bear to say goodbye. He literally turns away everytime he’s separated from her, unable to watch her vanish. Eat your heart out John Rolfe 🖕
