You are correct that this is a partial video and does not show the signatures. This video is intended to go along with a mini-book project I designed for The Button Farm and only shows a small bit of how to wrap the covers. It is not intended for a full process.

Hi Wendy. No sorry, not a die. I made it up. It's pretty easy actually. (1) Decide how big you want your tab pages (2) For the first tab (or the one closest to your main page, add a 1/2" for the hinge. (3) For the second or middle tab, add 3/4" and score at 1/2" and at 3/4". This will give you 1/4" space between the 1st and 2nd tab. The third tab add 1" additional and you will score at 1/2" and at 1". This will give you enough room so that each tab will fold nicely over the other while still giving you room in between to add lots of fabulous junk. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your comment Lindsey. I don't produce online videos as I'm not good at it ; ) I've been writing instructions for years and can do that OK. But unfortunately not set-up for video instructions. That takes a bigger set-up and more room than what I have in my studio. Maybe in the future?

Do you mean at the very corner? Usually when I do a corner, it's mitered so that you have just a bit left - but not 1/4". I think 1/4" would leave too much bulk at the corner (but that's just me 😉) When wrapping chipboard with paper, if you miter the corner and leave just a scant (less than 1/8") at the corner, you won't get bulk and it will come out nice and pretty - yet covered. HTH.

1/4" allowance for what please? If you mean the horizontal and vertical allowances for wrapping the edges - no. You have to do that yourself. Actually I use a 1/2" allowance for wrapping book edges. HTH

Hi Sharon. I used to use Tyvek but found it added more bulk than what I wanted . . . mainly because I had to then cover the Tyvek with decorative paper. I will say that using Designer Dries Clear adhesive, I've not had that problem (yet) and I've been using it for over 10 years. It also helps to use a good and sturdy cardstock like Bazzill.
