Port Macquarie to moonan flats ,old oxley highway ,cells River rd ,Nowandoc rd ,caters rd ,over the great dividing range ,very wet ,mud was the theme of the day 😅

This track runs between yardie cr and coral bay it’s a back track sand gravel road ,there are some incredible beautiful beaches and camping area

We head south from Port Macquarie to Gloucester and a little west to the steepest bike park in Australia,Barrington and it didn’t disappoint,once we scoped the mountain trails out , fun was had by all , I rode top to bottom to give you a good look at the trails the only trail we run out of time to do was detonator a double black route 9 that’s for next time 😅

Day 4 ,short 200 km route back to Port Macquarie will take in some beautiful coast line which will take as from hat head in the north to port Macquarie in the south ,throw in a beach run to boot 😅.

Thanks for the video , I'm really keen on purchasing the 901 expedition model , the big concern is all the talk about the camshaft problems on the 890 ,901 , not sure what to do 🤷♂️
I’ve got lots of mates the have both , I had only 1 that has that cam problem and was fixed under warranty

@@travelingtienes2594 it's great mate very different to the Dr, but no less capable. The boys at Wauchope gave it a once over and took her for a ride, he was impressed. Just need some decent tyres as it's shithouse in the mud and I'm waiting on my taller seat as it's a bit low for me. We should go for a ride sometime.

What tires are on the xt? Do you like them better then the original trail wings?
I have on the rear Dunlop D952 they are a nobby Tyre ,great Tyre in the dirt and fine in dry conditions on the road , the front Tyre I use is Pirelli scorpion tt desert , it’s a fantastic Tyre in all conditions ,they a much better Tyre for off road than the standard trial wings ,hope that helps Jo 🤙

Brings back memeories of doing a SideTrack ride back in 1998. Tont (Legend) Kirby route sheet ride all over Tassie, what and epic ride following route sheets on an XR400 (an nothing but the XR speedo trip meter)

Did you lower your XT? I am thinking about doing it. I have the 16 tooth sprocket but have been worried that I would lose power lower down. Sounds like you are satisfied with it.
No did not lower it, only use top gear on high way and I’m lite , bottom gears still have plenty of torque for me 😅
