Happy 40th birthday to the wonderful @THXLtd ! Well, at least according to their Twitter post yesterday, or unless if you considered the founded date of the THX article on Wikipedia to be true, then we're basically off by 6 days. But anyway, I decided to create this fun little video project to share with you all. It's basically all of the THX trailers that I can remember on the top of my head, find it, and created this 16.5 minute video for you to enjoy. I tried my best at editing, and looking back at it again, I did made about 3 or 4 minor errors here and there, so apologies to the perfectionists and THX enthusiasts out there. This video took all of my free time yesterday, and I'm so glad that I have an M1 Mac because I guarantee that if you were to use my second most powerful computer I own, this video will take days to render, but luckily, this video only took 30 minutes in total, and I have to render it 3 times just to get the final video that you are seeing right now, so imagine how long it'll take for the other ones to render. Anyway, I tried to cut down the fluff as most as I can without making the video boring, but even then I can't go below a certain amount unless if you want to see unorganized nonsense happening all over your screen. Also, I am so glad that I found this company almost 2 decades ago, and thanks to them, it's part of the reason why I love technology in the first place, so congratulations on completing 40 years, and here's to 10 more, because 50 is a huge milestone for anything. Anyway, Cheers to all of you and for those who work at THX, keep on making wonderful AV products, create those top tier trailers and scaring the hell out of children's minds while you're at it. THXphobia? Never heard of 'em. Alright, I'll see all of you in the 50th anniversary celebration. Oh, and before I go, is it too late to enter the # DeepNoteChallenge? Just joking. Aright, see ya.
