Just a quick workshop tip for repairing scratches in Trials Aluminium fork upper stanchions. Particularly TECH 39mm and Marzocchi 40mm forks. It's a Luthier's Superglue with these awesome applicators designed for repairing guitars. The company I get the product from is StewMac.com It is available in a few different colours. Trials Kickstart Removal Tip

So how much does this machine cost?
Depends on what country you are in. I suggest contacting your local Mecatecno importer or dealer who can help you with that. There is also now a number of Power Part options you can choose at the order stage which will affect the price now.

Hey can you use mineral oil in a brand new clutch master cylinder that says dot 4 on it(brand new never been dot 4 in it.. my mineral oil master is broken and need a new one

why don't the wheel bearings on the gasgas have dust seals like a dirtbike?
You would have to direct that question to GasGas Julian, but ALL trial manufacturers run a similar arrangement. The 6004 bearings used are sealed, and no "extra" dust seal is deemed to be required.
Don't know much about these but surprised it's a two-cycle and is it not an expansion chamber exhaust? Are there four strokes in trials bikes?
Did you actually put the bike on a scale? It would be great to know the exact weight!
Yes, with our parcel scales that are accurate to 60kg it reads 30kg front and 30kg rear. Total 60kg.

I bought this bike and I'm 59 years old. Recovering from throat cancer surgery and very concerned about starting the bike. All the videos and blogs talk about how hard it is to start. Is it really that bad? Thanks
It's not bad if you have the correct technique, it's just not a "soft" kicker. It has a quadrant gear kick start mechanism, so the kick gear is engaged for a very short time with the idler gear, and you need to get some momentum into the engine to get it fired up. So don't be a wuss! and you'll be fine.

I really don't understand why such a perfect modern trial bike equipped with such an ugly old-styled exhaust pipe originated from Gasgas models.

Thanks Paul, very informative. I have drag in my clutch after sitting with the lever pulled in for awhile. Thinking possible seal damage. 125st sherco 2012 model. Bike will stay put with a brake on. Your thoughts? Cheers Steve
Yes it sounds like you are getting bypass past the main Hydraulic seal, especially if it's 2012 model bike. Pretty sure that would be a Formula master cylinder which had some notoriety for wearing seals.Chuck a repair kit at it and it should get you there.
@@TheHellTeamTrials it's an ajp, do they have a kit for those or just the bit you showed on the video (the first one with all the little ribs)
@@stevesims8232 yes it's a kit. Comes with Piston (seals installed), spring, circlip, rubber boot, actuating pin and it's spring.

Hi Paul, a customer has just pointed this video out as he wants a softer clutch pull, I've measured the distance from the pivot point to the plunger on this small AJP and the Braktec master cylinders and they are both 19mm, so in my opinion they will both offer the exact same lever pull. Weirdly this older Small AJP master cylinder used to have a larger distance when they were first introduced as they used the same lever on the front brake version so it was around 20 to 21mm which gave a stiffer but faster lever pull, I think they swapped the lever to a longer length lever with the 19mm distance in around 2009.
Yes it seems that there is a bit of variation, but also the lever will make a difference, if you look at this link, (drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0Mfile5AhnmdGY2SGNHT3lySWc?resourcekey=0-UUOJWIAAoRZmwCeHefFNFQ&usp=drive_link) I measured a few levers and they varied between 14mm and 20mm so this is also going to affect stroke of lever vs stroke of piston.
