The combo at 4:50, do you need to delay the second HK for it to work?
Hey bud, yeah you do, it’s quite tricky
One combo that might be worth mentioning is 1-bar side swap lvl1: b-MP x HK, DR b-MP xx ch HK Drill, lvl1 Does around 100 less damage than the EX Drill combo at the cost of 1 less bar. Is relevant in situations where the EX Drill would burn yourself out. I feel like especially out of an instant air EX Divekick to beat throw, 4 bars vs 3 bars feels like a key number.

Too gimmicky for my gameplay but I’ve been hit with this a few times that’s for sure
@@Limit5482 the beauty of hooligan in sf6 is that with the right set ups it’s not gimmicky at all. It is an outright rps guessing situation. There is no “lab the answer”, it’s a guess of block high/blocklow/reversal. The set ups pretty much make cammy Gief in terms of how you have to act to defend against it.
@@james2088 yeah but most of the time they guess right. Not my cup of tea and I’ll stay away no matter how good it is. I don’t need it in my game tbh. Well not like that. I use it in one way where it is 90% safe and can only be DI’ed on reaction of jabbed out. I’ll test it in the beginning of the first round to see if they know. I play more like punk and more safe. With her walk speed and buttons you don’t need much else
Okay, so the one you use is quite specially a gimmick, since you’re testing their knowledge, and whether they know that they can just jab. The set ups I share in the beginning of the video, you can’t even jab out of, there is no special knowledge to deal with it, you guess right or not. Like fighting a grappler. Obviously use whatever you like and enjoy, but I just want to make clear about the set ups for other readers, so that misinformation isn’t encouraged. People also certainly do not guess right most of the time, the guessing is in the attacker’s favour because you limit the defender’s options so much.
Wanted to add the 1 bar midscreen combo i've seen pulled out at tournaments, no side switch but a plus meaty st mp b. mp hk tc -> non cancelled DR b. mp xx charged h spiral -> forwards jump -> meaty st mp
Can I suggest DI crumple next? I feel like that's where I see the most cammy players (or at least Punk, consistently) do suboptimal combos, especially just the basic no drive gauge BnBs.

You can actually get that absolute damage cashout lvl3 combo midscreen too. Swap out the ending DR b-HK DRC f-HK xx LK Drill, lvl3 for DR [1f strict delay] st.HP DRC [delay] st.HP xx ch HK DP xx lvl3 You have to connect the DR st.HP on the very last frame before they land so it's effectively an unplinkable 1f link. If you are 1f fast your DRC will cross under and whiff, if you are 1f slow you will whiff the st.HP. The second delay is much easier.

@@Un1234l this was always one of my objectives funnily enough. There are so many combo possibilities in this game, just sharing things that are possible can so often spark other ideas from other people, then once you have that one new core route it can open up lots of other things. So now sharing information has lead to learning new information, get stronger together and all that!

I'm starting to play Cammy now... I was researching some more efficient combos for her... and I wandered into some random channels... but damn... I'm glad Algoritmo introduced me to her channel. Here I don't just have combos, I have practically everything I need to know about Cammy. Thank you for sharing her knowledge.

Honestly, it seems like going for anything except M.SA after 3 lights just isn't worth it, except if you need a bit more damage to kill

@@adrian39547 hey mate, I’ll do my best to explain: SA = Spiral Arrow DP = Dragon Punch (Cannon Spike) DR = Drive Rush xx = special cancel , = link Lp = light punch Lk = light kick Mp, mk, hp, hk…..etc A letter before lp etc is the direction (b.hk = back heavy kick). If there any others you don’t understand just let me know.

Fun fact cause I never see it used. When b+MP hits as an Anti air you can often do a side switch by canceling into med,H, or OD hooligan, if the jump in was deep enough youll go under them and can dive kick.

Been playing Cammy for several months now and while I've gotten better with her, my combos are really lacking. This video is a fantastic resource that I will be using to try to improve my damage output with her, I'm sure I can implement some of these into my game play. Thanks for the comment. Generally most people consider optimal to mean optimal damage. But as you can see I did include some combos that maintain oki but do less damage, and then some combos that do more damage but lose oki, and I did corner combos too.

I dig these heavy damage, punish counter combos, plus they are so flashy 🔥 But having a resource of optimal (non punish) bread and butter Cammy combos would be so practical for me right now and I'm sure many other Cammy players, beginner to advanced, would also find it very helpful !
