@@3thaneol ai art is unbelievably damaging to artists, and it has already destroyed art careers. Ai art also uses stolen artwork to make other art, this is due to the fact that ai art is just collages of other peoples artwork that wasn't, credited or paid for.

Along side this, ai art cannot create better art than people, art is there to invoke emotion, a machine will never be able to do that effectively because it can't feel what its trying to create, leaving a permanent skill gap. And going into more social issues, we're dumping money into ai that can create art and poetry, while people are forced to work 2 full time jobs and still be forced to pick between rent and food. We're using ai for the wrong things.
