I bought a double from walmart, NO handles, except the t handles. bought handles from amazon and now my double has 4 handles........ HIGHLY recomended, I added water proof silicone to the holes and between the handle and yak as well.

If I put a different hook on and it makes the split ring have a gap in the coil is it no good? I was putting inline hooks on top water baits and the split rings are not quite the same now.

I have 2 kayaks. Both are cheap but different brands. One is horrible eith tracking. Is there anything that can be done for this?

does line thickness make a big difference? tried tying on some 6lb mono to a small reel, but it keeps slipping...

For anybody doing this, I highly recommend using either maring grade silicon or even better a marine grade adhesive sealant like Marine goop (marine goop actually bonds to the polystyrene unlike silicon)

The strongest one is FG knot. The knot shown in this video may let you down.I have had problems with this knot breaking many times. I recommend to learn FG knot to all

Thanks for the video it's always nice to have a refresher. Another thing to look for is taking off the prop and checking for fishing line because that fishing line in the front of the prop is normally what ruins that seal and allows water to get in your lower unit. Removing that, lubing the shaft and inspecting that area is an excellent preventative step as well.

Ever thought of using KY GEL as a lubricant?

So, I'm guessing by where you placed the cleat, you won't be using ome of the "closure skirts" or diaphrams that keep water out.

I'm doing this currently with a cheap dome tent and camo waterproof tarp ,I have a long term bivvy for this purpose but it weighs nigh on 20 kg ,bulky and is far too big for the swims on a canal ,this has got my tent down to 3kg with the tarp

The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

The angled edges make it easier to get into the smaller spaces among the rocks. I didn't realize that the front of the net doesn't actually have a frame to it, just the sides do, but it seems to work just fine. The handle extends to various sizes, which is a great feature when I'm in areas that are tight with shrubs at the edges of the pond. I can collapse the handle so it doesn't get stuck in the bushes.

Took my brand new Battle II 5000 for a spin yesterday for the very first time and I hooked a 20lb yellowtail using a Ugly Stik X2 (medium hard) rod czcams.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . This combo was recommended on some website and it did not disappoint me. The reel is smooth, the drag click is pretty cool cause i think it adds to the excitement of fighting the fish, personally the drag is my favorite part. I use braid and 300 yards will fill the entire spool. This combo is my main setup from now on although I have to disclose I am new to fishing.

I would have put more eyelets in the middle portion and put them vertices instead of horizontal, you are using them as a line guide, not really an anchor point, but definitely horizontal at both ends. Also I've seen (and added) about 8" of mid size bungee chord to one end of the trolley line for two reasons... 1. If you areanchoeed and you get loose or drift or gust of wind, without the bungee taking up the shock stop... YOU might go swimming. 2. The bungee makes maneuvering the anchor back and forth a pleasure and NOT a chore.
