Meter gauge EMUs evoke nostalgic memories. Their quick acceleration and deceleration, peculiar sounds while running, the pleasant sound of their klaxon (whistle) - all take me back in time by 50-60 years. I had also seen those rakes with a marvellous silver livery in the fifties and sixties. There also used to be metre gauge electric locos in silver livery, hauling coaches with same colour. Those were used for engine locals during peak hours. One of those locos used to be kept on the western footpath outside Tambaram station for display.

रेलवे की बहुत बड़ी गलती है, पहले बड़ी Line track बना लेना चाहिए था, उसके बाद ही छोटी Line को बंद करना था, छोटी line के side मैं बड़ी line बना लेना था , इससे रेलवे को loss नही होता ओर लोगो का रोजगार भी नही जाता, और रेलवे work भी बहुत धीरे धीरे कर रहे हैं,
