To me, this is Susan's second best performance of all time. Her performance two years earlier during Mona's funeral was her very best performance of all time and she richly deserved the Emmy for them both. ❤️❤️❤️

So I must have not been really watching AMC for a couple years there I don't really recall Stuart being dead and Adam shooting him? Why did Adam shoot his own brother and how did Stuart magically appear alive but with a heart issue?

People only watched soap operas because they were the only thing on. By the 90s, there would be more choices with cable expanding.

She lied, no doubt. Actors lie all the time to the public. It's part of her good manners , I believe . She had the option to to publicly trash him , but chose not to , and covered up the real issues by pretending everything was fine. Never believe everything an actor say

When they cancelled "All My Children" my Aunt Glenda couldn't understand it, it was the first time I saw her look confused. The world had moved on and something she loved was now obsolete. She was never quite the same after that. Rest in peace Aunt Glenda, you were my family's Erica Kane.

Crying over Bianca being gay... That should have gone in another direction. Erica always wanted people to accept her.

I forgot how great this episode was. It was an incredible way to recount Erica's history but also capture the essence of her character - passionate but vulnerable, and yes, she was hurt and betrayed by a lot of those people. As selfish and narcissistic as Erica could be, she was 100% correct when she read them for filth. A powerful performance by Susan Lucci. I agree she should have won for this story but the year she won the Emmy, she was also fantastic (and deserving).

AMC had gotten so much better towards the end. Agnes came back and weaved her magic and resuscitated this show after years of abc letting it be ruined. If they had given it more time it definitely would’ve been great again.

David Canary was so awesome as both brothers...and he was also just as awesome on Bonanza...one of the best westerns ever made!!! All my children though was his geat achievement i think...mayve ge wouldn't agree... but I think it took so much to play two brothers on a soap... people don't realize how much these actors go through ...❤❤

This truly is a tour du force performance. Anyone who saya Lucci cant act has clearly never seen this scene. When she talks aboit Mona and you see Eileen (Mrytle) nd Ruth (Phoebe) start to choke up, you can tell they are genuine moved by what they are witnessing.
