I don’t think the light switch was a two way, now installation is with 14 three wire just in case later down the road, you want to split the power 2 different switches, but in this case the red wire was dead

Why not just cut behind the shutoff? Looks like you have enough pipe to work with
Your work is extraordinary😂😂😂😂😂😂 can you make a mess of something so simple😂😂😂😂😂😂

That's the retro fit kit get I'm wondering if he bothered to take out the glove box to make sure there wasn't an extra cabin filter or check to see if the exterior filter needed changed
Lol
You are a true heaven's send!!!!!! I literally built this kitchen step by step, following you........ there's NO WAY I could've followed the instructions!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! P.S. I don't know you're name so, I was calling you Henry 😂😂🥰🥰

I’m happy I could help
So I just built the brown songesand, but the top drawer doesn't fit inside fully, and for some reason there is a gap below bottom drawer. How do the drawers go on?
If you build it correctly, then the hinges should go inside
As you put the drawer and make sure the wheel goes inside of the hinge
This guy butchered everything.

@handychannel5985 I don't care how it operates. This guy butchered everything lol. I've never seen anything like this
What can you expect from a guy that buys a 7 dollar socket set from a gas station?
dude you try doing this without messing something up. this thing is a mother fucker to get out. so stupid the way this thing is made@@whiteamerican

I just ordered 3 Homey Buff fans from Amazon. Hope it's as easy as you make it look. I'm scared LOL. Thanks for your video. I think
That’s cool, it should be that easy. Thanks for letting me know. Let me know how it turns out for you.
Early one morning, I was awakened by a soft "hissing" sound. Thought..must be something outside, and I went back to sleep....but it persisted. Where is that coming from?? I got out of bed, opened the door, and just across the hall in the bathroom was a horizontal column of water shooting out from behind the toilet!! Bathroom was flooded, as well as the kitchen below. I sloshed down to the cellar and shut off the water. Apparently, the little chrome valve under the tank went. That was almost twenty years ago, and since then I never use those crappy little pot metal valves. Whenever I've had to replace, or routinely change plumbing, I replace those with a ball-valve and aircraft hose. Wherever in my house I've done that, none have ever needed replaced and I've never had a problem.....
One time I was dreaming I was out in the woods, standing with my hands on my hips like Superman, pissing like a race horse. I was thinking “damn, I really had to go!” As the stream was hitting the leaves on the ground it sounded like a race horse. (Pissing) Then all the sudden I wake up and my fish tank had sprung a leak and a steady stream was pissing on the carpet floor! I spring out of bed and realize that was pissing myself too! I was actually relieved (pun intended) when Kate Upton wasn’t waiting for me back at the car. “Pheeeew!”
@@bassfishingwiththeantichri2921 Thanks; nothing like starting my day with a good laugh!

Thank for the step by step instructions
Glad it worked out for you
A bit more detail on fine tuning the doors would have been helpful. Thanks for pointing out though, was going crazy wondering why they weren't level,
Thank you
Your video was way easier than the instructions. Thanks for your explanations.
Kool, thanks for letting me know, I just put up the daybed storage bed
What size bed was that in the video?
It was a queen
How this truck came with no filters? That's absurd.
I thought it was weird, I didn’t want everything to get clogged so I decided to just put one in
This is this one 😢 wTF

How can you identify by looking at the old shutoff valve -- before removing it from the pipe -- whether it's a compression fitting or a threaded fitting? (In case you want to buy a replacement before removing the old valve.)
They look the same, but if you are going to replace it, then I would grab a hold of the nut and try to twist the actual fitting. Either way it would come loose if it is compression but if it is threaded then that will ensure that you don’t break the solder
@Handy channel : If the shutoff valve is loosened from the pipe but not immediately replaced, wouldn't it leak a lot when the water supply to the valve is turned back on? Assuming yes, loosening the shutoff valve by twisting it seems like a bad idea in a condo building or apartment building, where the water supply to the valves can be shut off only by also shutting off a lot of other units in the building, and thus can be reasonably shut off only for a short period of time (after giving notice to the residents of the other affected units). So I think the replacement valves really need to be on hand before loosening the old valves, so that the duration of the shutoff can be reasonably short. Isn't there a way to visually distinguish between a compression fitting and a threaded fitting without loosening the fitting? (So that a compatible replacement can be ordered in advance.) Both have some visible threads, but isn't there any visible difference?
Is there any way of using this gate without screwing it into a wall?
Yes, you can try summer gates
Vinegar works too
Word
I was told by a contractor planning to install the shutoff valves under my kitchen sink that he plans to use propress fittings because propress is intended to be permanent, while sharkbite is for temporary uses. I assume he meant sharkbite won't endure as many years as propress. Is that true? I googled 'sharkbite warranty' and one of the top search results is a blog that says most professional plumbers use sharkbite only for emergency or temporary fixes. Of all the available systems (including compression fit, soldering, whatever) which is likeliest to be trouble-free for the most years?
I get the same results, but in some houses, I replace shark bites, and they are old
And it all comes down to the pressure rating, how much pressure they can take before they break and shark bite is pretty high for what kind of pressure comes through
Oh, I see what he is using, to visualize this better he’s pro, pressing a washer is in that lip but if the washer ever gets pited or just imagine if he pressed it without the rubber washer, it would leak
If he’s going through the trouble to press a rubber washer to make it not leak, he might as well solder it. If it’s copper to copper, it will last a lot longer.
@@handychannel5985 : Viega Propress fittings have a 50 year warranty.
Why not just replace the old gasket in the shutoff valve, instead of replacing the shutoff valve?
I did that for a hose Spicket before but it was hard to find a washer to match, I had to take it off and take it to the hardware store. I guess some hardware stores still carry replacement parts, but nowadays it’s faster just to replace it.
For starters, quarter-turn ball valves like the Sharkbites are ALOT nicer and quicker to use than the old style valves. A nice shiny new valve looks alot nicer as well. May as well replace it than bother with gaskets.
Thank you so much
I’m glad it helped you
@@handychannel5985 it really did
Hanging the TV puts it too high on the wall, it should be lower for optimum comfort when watching.
It depends on if you want to save space and have the TV off of your entertainment center or in my case I have it all the way up on the wall so I don’t bend my neck while I’m laying in bed watching TV or hurting my eyes
23:04 right, this was hardly explained in the manual, it took me one hour until the drawer worked properly. And then the fine adjustment for the cupboard doors.
What do you say this video was helpful?
@@handychannel5985 20:16 of course, helpful. But people figure that everything is stated in the manual and they start the work without watching your video. But in the manual I had from the package there was no mention how to attach the drawer bracket.
Stupid video.
Make sure you turn the water main off first.
Of course, did I forget to mention that?
I had problems with the doors , they came apart . I don't know if there was something I did or factory fault
Are you talking about the hinges or the actual door itself
@@handychannel5985 the actual dorra bro
Maybe it wasn’t glued properly, you just take the door back to the store and they should give you another one
You could have just change the stem with the stem rebuilding kit
This is also true
you recommend this or no?
It’s not glass, it’s like that bullet proof Plexiglass they having gas stations
Yes it’s nice because it Acts like a door
And if the drywall screws end up coming loose you can always use toggle bolts that’s if you’re not screwing into the banister or the stud
You can also check out the ones from summer
