    Hi. Can you tell us more about these holes in the engine covers? I have a qs205 which overheats when I give it 120A. I don't want to use ferrofluid or oil and I was intrigued by your method.... Did it dissipate heat effectively? What about riding in the rain/washing your bike? 🤔

    fantastic job! where do you get the flame protection? i know the DALY BMS factory boss and i worked with ANT BMS for many years too. wise choice to change to a bigger BMS. but be careful and check it after a hard cut due to low voltage over overcurrent since these 2 scenarios cooked several BMS from ANT before here. really good job you found the problems and were able to fix it.

    • @liarus
      @liarus Před 3 měsíci

      It's quite the opposite actually, square wave controllers are much simpler and are less likely to break, the cons is that they're also way noisier and have less granular control, sine wave are quiet and very easy to control but they're also more complex, Thus, have more points of failure

      @@liarusfrom my experience due to the simplicity they actually blow up more often than proper foc/sinewave controllers that use output current monitoring most squarewave junk only have input shunts/measure battery current only and just throw a lot of fets into it in the hope it doesnt blow up

      @@ridecrypto With neglect, I get 8000 miles from motor sprockets and 10,000 from chain. With care...occasional cleaning and relube, the chain lasts 12K and motor sprockets about 9000 miles. The motor sprocket teeth start hooking after a while and then eventually I need to replace the sprocket. I have yet to replace a wheel sprocket. All those teeth on them, they tend to last forever since the individual teeth are under far less load. *** So you are getting 8000 miles from your belts?
