When i right or "ctrl + click" I do no get an option to show what I want. It's just align and colors on windows.

I'm about to start on my first screenplay for my book "Miracles on a Rooftop. When the Impossible is Made Possible". So many of my readers message me telling me I have to turn my book into a movie, so I'm going to attempt to write the screenplay with Final Draft! Thank you for this podcast. I've already written a screenplay I need help formating it. I've never seen a video on that very frustrated. Also Is there an automatic button for formatting...does final 13 utilizes A.I?

Unbelievable that all your updates are for Mac users. No dark mode in Windows interface (only for script page), no real fullscreen for Windows etc., completely old 2000s interface and you want the same price? Why not make a one app for all operating systems with the same interface? Unbelievable.

My issue is trying to download final draft 13 to my other laptop. I've already purchased, and when they ask for email or customer #, I enter email, but never given customer #. I'm about to just go AI, I'm just tired of having to wait days for answers, days for help. Robots aren't moody, and never take time off and always there to help you. I used to be against AI, but now, hell, if it can help me streamline my projects without having to wait days and days for help, then why not...cause time is money. I just don't have days and days to wait for some final draft tech to respond, so I'll try this new AI version of final draft...I will not give the name though cause don't want others learning this new product..lol

Can you please update the FD13 Windows UI so it's not from 30 years ago? Also, the Windows experience is completely different and you did not highlight a single variation, contrary to the intro. I know most of your customer base must be on MAC, but it can't be that hard to update the Windows version more than once a generation. All that aside, thank you for the tools you provide! I see why this is the industry standard, but I don't want to buy a new computer just to fit in.

You would suppose that this top software that hollywood uses would be less retared and would be able to do simple things such as recieving a damn pdf file and not turn it into a nightmare but thats not the case. You really have to edit every single freaking line yourself. That's insane.

PLEASE take the adverts off these videos. It only makes you a teeny tiny bit of money, but it drives us crazy when we're trying to watch several of your videos

Second time I've lost work do to Final Draft 'Crash'... This time, lost a day and a half worth of creative writing, dialogue writing, that I can never replicate. Your software crashes...this issue needs to be addressed. I cannot, in good faith, use this program going forward if the issue of software crashing isn't resolve...can't afford to lose work like that anymore.

Are there any tutorial videos for beat sheets and treatments?

In Final Draft 12, The Navigator had a bottom section that included (1) The Scene Title/Color, (2) a list of all the characters in that scene. Is that possible in Final Draft 13?

How do you select paper size? In UK we have A4 only for printing. in the US it is legal letter(??) So depending on region .. the paper size nees to be chosen first right?

Some of the Final Draft 13 Navigator improvements are nice, EXCEPT when it comes to dealing with ScriptNotes. In Final Draft 12, the Navigator allowed the user to see all ScriptNotes at once, AND you could see THE FULL TEXT of each ScriptNotes in a small window at the bottom of the Navigator. In Final Draft 13, the text from the ScriptNotes appears in a single, tiny summary line. It makes editing a note within the Navigator highly frustrating. Please bring back that very simple but very useful feature from FD 12’s Navigator! Also, please consider developing a way to combine ALL ScriptNotes coming from different users/readers in the same screenplay. (CSV export in not useful. We need to see the notes within the script). I'm while I'm at it, being able to increase the font size of the ScriptNotes would be fantastic. :) (And yes, I did bring those issues with customer support.)

Why are the beats and script already there? It's been a month now and I haven't figured if a Act Marker is a beat or not. It seems the tutorial is too economical and zips through. Scrivener isn't complicated, you can move work around. Should I dislike the beat board or FD all together?

Wow, I never realized how great Final Draft is -- my coauthor and I have just begun using it and we already love it. Can I ask a couple of questions? We've tested out the collaboration feature, and it seems to basically work but it also seems that when we're both joined through a collaboration session, we can't seem to use the Undo function -- the Undo button icon is grayed out or "ghosted" or whatever, and Control + Z for Windows and Command + Z for Mac doesn't work when we do something like create a new beat board and then try to undo the action. When I'm just on Final Draft alone before I invite my coauthor to collaborate, Control + Z on my Windows machine works fine. I've also noticed this problem with the Save feature, but your video here might address that in how it's saying that after a collaboration has ended, each user can save a copy to their own hard drive and only their own, because there's not cloud storage functionality. So I don't understand the Undo problem we're having while in collaboration mode, but the problem with the Save feature while in collaboration mode might make some sense to me (except for the fact that I'd like us to save as we go?) --- Anyway, thanks for fielding my questions here if possible!

do you seriously think given how quickly and lightly you go over the features that anyone will learn anything from this? At a minimum, maybe create links to go to more in depth presentations. Just not user-friendly

It doesn't work!!! I unistalled and installed it 6 times. You're forcing people to shift to a version that doesn't activate. AND your customer service doesn't reply fast enough. I have work to finish and I cannot activate the new version I was basically forced to get because your version 12 is becoming obsolete. FIX IT NOW or gives all our money back!!!

Get your story, plot and characters right in the first 2-3 drafts. Then, get your mix of poetry and prose. And then formatting of course.
