Hello friend! This single âAbsentâ belongs to the 2018 album UNSETTLING WHISPERS, it is not new and obviously will not be part of the next album. However, thank you for promoting this wonderful band, having to see a live show is unbelievable.
Yeah man, I realized that an hour ago and changed the title and description haha! It's been such a long time I've listen to that album but what a track and at least it's brand new video haha. Thanks for the rectification, I love their last 2 albums and now I need to rediscover their debut and the first EP badly, let's listen that bad boy at high volume NOW, cheers man \m/

I mean the song has gotten 3 million views in 3 days so it's safe to say ppl definitely like these kind of music. đ But yeah I can totally understand if some ppl don't vibe with this song. Also what's even crazier is that a heavy metal song like this with very little clean vocals is getting this much views in such a short amount of time in 2024. Very impressive. Most metal and rock music now a days getting just 1 million views their entire lifetime is considered a success. This is on a whole another level...
Yeah itâs really popular but popularity doesnât necessarily mean quality, Iâll avoid to drop names but you certainly know few of them haha. However, I think this track is quite interesting, great vocals, smashing drum parts, heavy riffing and this over the top video. I can definitely appreciate most of this song even if itâs not my cup of tea. I think, itâs good songwriting and everything about it has been done with a lot of details, they thought about everything! Cheers, hope you enjoyed my reaction and maybe more in the future đ€đŒ
I like the 'Coming Home' song playing during your intro and outro. I liked the Hip-hop part - it was a nice break from all the hard-core growling. And it made the end part even more epic!
Hey thank you for your message. The hip hop part itself is cool, I wasnât just feeling it cutting the song out of nowhere BUT your totally accurate about the build up it made to come back stronger at the end. Maybe that part will grow on me with more listens too! Wishing you a great day, donât hesitate to stop by again, cheers đ€đŒ
Hey that was fantastic, heavy and epic! Discovering new stuff always! Have you ever heard of Korpiklaani? If not I suggest you react to their song Vodka.

Death Methal definitely is not my favorite metal genre, however I always pick good stuff when browsing, specially into melodic death metal field. Finland is really a nest of good Metal!
Melodic Death Metal always warmth my heart since 1997, I like the contrast between the melodic/emotional side of it and the agression by the vocals and the rhythm section. I also like bands that incorporate clean segment when the voice is good enough to pull it off. Which melodeath bands do you like ? Finland for sure is one of the best country for it with COB, Brymir, Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, Norther, Wintersun and way more
The song is awesome
This new band is simply incredible
Hey nice T-shirt đ€. Did I get it right that the lyrics are kind of criticizing religious beliefs?
Thanks, I was at a Blind Guardian show 2 days ago and it was crazy fantastic! I didnât pay attention to the lyrics to be honest but the title said it all I imagine haha
Feuerschwanz was founded as a parody band in 2004 to counterpart (sometimes overly) serious German medieval folk scene. Over the years they left the straight parody while keeping the mostly humorous attempt and added more and more rock & metal elements to their music (early Feuerschwanz was purely accoustic, they had no electric guitar up until 2008 when Hans Der Aufrechte [Hans The Upright] joined). Their original material is usually in German, with some Latin here and there but in 2020 they started doing cover songs in English too (and in the case of the infamous Dragostea Din Tei [aka the Numa Numa song] even Romanian]. Berzerkermode (from the 2023 album Fegefeuer [Purgatory]) has German verses and an English chorus. The upcoming album Warriors is, as you've said in the reaction, fully in English with one newly written song, one new cover (Valhalla Calling, original by Miracleofsound) and nine songs translated from German to English, just like Wardwarf (original Kampfzwerg - literal translation Battle Dwarf/ Fight Dwarf) and in typical Feuerschwanz fashion, they spell the title wrongly, as if it still was German, in one word đ. Having Francesco Cavalieri as gest vocalist is just a perfect fit. And Yes, Hauptmann Feuerschwanz (Captain Fire...tail đ ), the guy in chainmail, is the last remaining founding member.
Itâs funny because I read the history of the band on a metal website and it was almost word for word what youâre saying. Itâs an interesting evolution and itâs cool they are singing more in English while still doing in German as well. Really funny band with good musicians and a great sense for entertainment. Thanks for your comment, cheers đ€đŒ
@@metalanthology That is funny, as just recently I commented on another band and some other user answered my text would read like a "Spotify profile" đ Maybe I should think about changing my profession and go into writing. đ They are a fun band, saw them live last year (The Dark Side Of The Moon was the opener, Warkings the support band) and had an absolut blast.
Feuerschwanz means firetail (Feuer = fire, Schwanz = tail). But "Schwanz" can also mean a different thing: the tail between your legs (d*ck) that pun is intended. đ
Thank you very much for this educational segment, Iâm surely wiser now hahaha! After Firewind, letâs welcome Firecock, sounds great đ€!
Cant understand that why everyone hates FFDP so much bc its one of the createst in entire world...
I can't stand them, their look, the compositions aren't interesting to me, I saw them live last summer and it was painful. BUT there's hooks in their music and some of the songs are ok and the addition of Andy James is a big one. It's just sad to have a virtuoso in a band and the guy is locked in chains. Thanks for sharing your point of view and for being accountable about loving 5FDP hahaha, cheers man \m/
I get what you're saying. My first time hearing I thought it was decent but after a few listens I really started to love it. That riff and chorus starts to really get catchy.

I liked this new singer as well, what a clean and powerful voice!
I remember my first time listening to Rhapsody of Fire with Fabio Lione on vocals! It was wild đ€, I became addicted to Emerald Sword and Dawn of Victory!
First time I heard them was in 1998 and listening to SOEL blew me away completely, still a favourite of mine. Those first four albums are precious jewels that will be almost impossible to top. Thereâs not a lot of bands that achieved tahr kind of masterpieces in the realm of Power Metal. This new era of Rhapsody is less adventurous and innovative but still they are very talented players and they provide some good songs like this one! The Dark Tower of Abyss đ€đŒ
@@metalanthology If I'm not mistaken Emerald Sword is from that album isn't it? SOEL is a masterpiece, and that era was the best one for ROF. I started listening to power metal by my brother's influence, they introduced me to Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, ROF, and some other symphonic metal stuff as well, at that time I was tending more to Punk Rock and Trash Metal... Lol. So when I heard those fast double base drumming tracks, combined to freaking guitar solos, and uplifting vibe, I just got drowned by the Power Metal world.
@@vinivmoraes absolutely Emerald Sword is the second track from that chef dâĆuvre! I was also drown by Power Metal discovering in 97-98 Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Rhapsody, Angra, Helloween, Running Wild. I love everything you said about the genre, the emotions translated into most of these songs is sometimes breathtaking, I love the melodic side of the genre, the musicianship, the vocals over the top, the epicness of it and the feel great, glorious, uplifting vibe. One of my favourite genre no doubt! By the way, I was also and still am a big punk rock and Thrash Metal fan way before knowing any Power Metal, cheers Vinicius đ€đŒ
Du groooooos solide! Richardson a rend vraiement hommage a Oli.
EntiĂšrement dâaccord tout en ajoutant sa touche parce que les riffs ont dĂ©finitivement lâĂ©tampe de Jason, alors que le solo est mĂ©morable et catchy comme sur les premiers albums, cheers đ€đŒ

Metal is the law!

Awesome reaction video @Metal Anthology! Did you notice the different rhythm at the guitar solo intro? That was "baiĂŁo", an original music style from Brazil. You're gonna find this kind of rhythm in some parts of Angra's and Sepultura's songs.
Hello Vinicius, thank you, at least the sound is better when I talk, very difficult to calibrate with their videos, thatâs the first time it does that. The part youâre talking about is the rythme behind the keyboard solo juste before the guitar solo kicks off ? Love that they integrate traditional Brazilian music and make it metal. Always love Angra and Sepultura for that! Do you like Burning in Hell by the way, their 2 albums are quite excellent. Have a great evening đ€đŒ
