the American Beauty Flag.
The American Beauty Flag is made up of 507 Grateful Fred, red, white (chrome) and blue bolts. The charity auction supports Pets For Vets non-profit organization. Pets For Vets connects America’s veterans with shelter pets by rescuing, training and pairing the companion animals with those who have served in the military.
Pets for Vets is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to providing a second chance to shelter dogs by rescuing, training, and matching them with American veterans who need a companion pet. The organization was founded in 2009 to help veterans who are suffering from combat stress and other emotional issues. Each companion dog is rescued in connection with local animal rescue groups. This is NOT how to do it. Heat the badges up first with a hair dryer moving it side to side then use dental floss to remove the badges. String will scratch the paint

This is the worst tutorial… like ever. Bro doesn’t even heat up the emblem.. and then uses a thick ass string, then tells you to use a paper towel and some alcohol
Thank You for taking the time to share this wonderful information with us all!!! Such valuable and useful information. Quick tip? So I "modified" ur instructions slightly. I live in Palm Springs where it has been 112 degrees everyday this month (give or take a few degrees). I put a car cover over my vehicle and let it sit out in the sun all day. The CHEVROLET letters? They practically slid right off when I took the clear nylon fishing string to them😊.....thrilled to pieces with the end result. 😊

Wrong! A rubber decal adhesive eraser drill attachment is the way to go. Heat the emblem, floss it off, use the rubber wheel attachment. I removed an emblem completely clean in five minutes today.

You can get a rubber toffee wheel for a drill that gets the glue off in an instant and leaves paint untouched

Heat gun when it comes to anything sticky is the number one tool. A blow will work as well.
Peal them off and use goo gone. It’s sold everywhere, is oil based and works great to take the adhesive off and won’t damage the paint. Works great on windows too then use winded.

Use a heat gun on the letters before using the string to pop the letters off, more of the adhesive will come off with each letter and make the second part a lil easier.
Blow dryer will do wonders
And if you dont have a heat gun, a hair dryer works. 😅

@@392Joel that’s why you use 70% IPA. Typically you only have issues with 99%. Which is why I was confused, not all alcohol is bad for paint, in fact it’s a necessity when cleaning a panel for a coating
