I think it's not that "antique" the wood seems to be fresh (freshly burnt) and the metal seems to be intentionally rusted or broken. Nonetheless, all good

What size/gallon compressor do you need to power the smaller spray gun you used?
why sandblast if you are going to grind multiple mils of metal? could have soaked in hydrochloric acid to retain antique pitting or original forging appearances,grind a nice clean edge and polish.The pitting would actually be good for function in the cut allowing air cushion.
You could sharpen that chisel 😊
