The National University of Singapore Alumni Orchestra (NAO) is the official alumni orchestra of the NUS Symphony Orchestra (NUSSO).

At its core, NAO comprises a dedicated group of NUSSO alumni who strongly believe in the NUSSO vision of bringing music to the community and allowing people outside of the classical music scene to enjoy classical music.

Vision:
To be a platform for members to continue striving for musical excellence and to engage the community in musical appreciation and education

Raison d’etre:
To build a comfortable environment for NUSSO alumni members to continue honing their musical skills, learning and aspiring towards musical excellence, even after graduation

To promote musical appreciation among the public by giving audiences the tools to appreciate classical music

To foster a community of alumni that gives back by extending the NUSSO brand and tradition beyond the boundaries of school
