Great to see real street photography taken with the R50 . Recently bought one have you ever used the 50mm 1.8 on it ?
Yes! That was the first lens I bought after the kit lens. I’ve found I prefer the focal length of the 28mm in most cases, and also love the compact size. However I do need to give some love to the 50mm and will make a video featuring that soon.
dk v10 in lift looks very ugly :( photos are great mate
Thanks!
hi, where did you use v10 i cant figure it out)) and is it just sooc in standard colors or you color grade?
The opening shot (me showing the R50) was shot with the V10, and also when I am speaking directly to the camera. The V10 clips are straight out of camera, the photos are then with my personal in-camera JPEG preset.
@@blair_maynes Hello, I am getting into photography and am really enjoying your videos and photos, i am getting this exact camera next month with the dual lens kit to start off (will get more down the road) i was just wondering if you could possible do a video or maybe leave a link to your personal camera settings if possible if your willing to share them, if not i totally understand i figured i would just ask as i love the colors and depth with the darker areas 5:03 i had to stop and stare at this one haha 😍 thanks for the content, ill be subscribing and looking out for more videos, and i also love the creativity @ 0:43
Thanks so much! I’m excited for you! This is fantastic camera and so much fun. I can point you in the right direction. I made a user preset under the “Scene Intelligent Auto” mode that is slightly dark, slightly high contrast, slightly saturated, a little more amber than blue, and a little more magenta than green. You can pick the exact numbers that work for you. After that I made a user preset under aperture priority mode to as closely match it as I could for when I shoot that way.
I did this by accident and now I’m trying to figure how to do it when I want can you teach me ?
For sure! On your dial on top of the camera, you’ll want to set it to the white camera logo with an “A” on it that has a piece of film behind it. Then, just click away and the video will automatically be compiled together in playback. 🙂
I would suggest low profile side shots of cars without show the plate. Good stuff portland has fantastic architecture dating back to the 1800
I really love this! Excellent job.
Great video! It was really interesting to hear your thought process on why you wanted to capture certain things.
Good job!
Wow, I lived in Portland for a year when I was 18 and I honestly think this is the most beautiful way to see the city. You truly have a gift.
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
