Alabaré supports people to overcome the barriers of homelessness, mental ill-health and learning disabilities in order to have a home, health, choice and independence.
Alabaré provide support to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our communities. Since 1991, Alabaré has been working with people facing disadvantage through homelessness, mental ill-health, learning disability or a combination of these. We provide housing and personalised support based on the individual needs and aspirations of each person, tackling underlying causes and giving them the skills and confidence to move forward with their lives.

Hampshire Veterans Residential 2024 with Boots on the Ground England
Alabaré Homes for Veterans provides housing, support and training to veterans who are homeless or vulnerable.
🌿🌲 What an incredible week with Boots on the Ground England! Thanks to Energise Me we hosted a residential for veterans in #Hampshire focused on increasing physical activity and wellbeing for veterans across Hampshire. From bushcraft skills to bat detecting, animal tracking and laying cameras, and exploring the woodland and lake. One veteran reflected on the walk to the lake, “this is the longest I’ve walked in one go since I can ever remember” (he still had the walk back to go!)
This allowed veterans to come off the grid, to reconnect to nature and each other, and for some, this aided in some of the best sleep they’ve had in months. Shoutout to Sowelocic for the drumming session that brought everyone together! 🥁 Huge thanks to The Cameron Bespolka Trust RSPB England and Op COURAGE for making it happen. #veteransupport #naturetherapy #wellbeing #getactive #wellbeing #veterans #physicallyactive #connectingtonature #woodland #forest #mentalhealth #healing 🇬🇧

Asylum seekers or economic migrants? Where do they come from? They all look European to me? Albania, Kosovo or Bosnia perhaps?
We had the best time! Massive thanks to the wonderful Hayden (North Ranger) for taking us on the journey. Reflecting on our time outdoors and the impact on our wellbeing, this truly was a special day for the lads.
