I have one mounted on my SL65 AMG and currently there is no need to replace it more so because it's painted in the same colour (black metallic) like my car. Astonished to see that with only 3 rows of tape it will not fly off, frankly I didn't expect that. And by the way could you provide us with some hints where to get parts for SL's like rims, spoilers, and other add-ons apart from Ebay? Thanks.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t show how to remove any of the panels. You guys gloss over all of the actual removal, and maybe two or three times point out a screw hole here or there.

I really like the starlight mod in the headliner. I've owned my R230 for about 6 years now, and it's still my favorite car to drive. The balance is real though - I've poured money, sweat, blood, and tears to keep it maintained properly. Great car for an enthusiast with deep pockets and/or above average mechanical skills.

Very misleading. You must torque the control arms to spec with the suspension "loaded" on the ground or with a jack under the wheel to simulate the suspension being loaded on the ground. Not just tighten them up to spec. This is a disservice to DIYers as it's better to leave alone than to do it WRONG.

I think I found the fusebox behind the glovebox, on top of the footwell cover. 1) how do I unclip the three white clips holding the cover onto the box ? 2) is there a way to send you the photo of what I think is the fusebox ? Its kind of round clipped onto a larger round plastic lid.
