What a beautiful song!!! This song brings back numerous memories of my late husband and I. It was one of our favorites. We met in Oct of 1974,both of us,teachers.This song was very popular then and many times when I traveled to go home it would play. When school vacation time came and we knew we weren't going to see each until school reopened, the lyrics of the song resonated even more .We shared 45 wonderful years of togetherness in marriage. He passed away in June of 2023.I get emotional every time I hear it and most of the time I end up in tears.

It's 2024 now, ' still love this song.
