crazy drumming
Muito... muito bom
I was thirteen, and on that train. Thank God, I survived it.
A great band that was on the absolute cusp of major success/ I always heard that there were disagreements about terms of a major record contract so they eventually disbanded !!!
Fab!!!
Still trying to find out if this is the same musician who would do themes for Breaking Bad, Preacher and Blacklist! I'm convinced that it COULD be... i still really love this album nevertheless
@@twistedwell9568 I seriously doubt it because I've seen that Breaking Bad searching for a copy of this album and just....no. If it is I'd be shocked.
A Real Doctor not that evil maggot Fauci!✊
I bought this LP late 1972:after my buddy from Chagrin Falls and I "tuned" ourselves to his copy. It was, to say the least, an unexpected departure from the Canned Heat brand. I was fortunate enough to see him play live (along with about 20 other people) on a weekday Fall evening at The Bottom Line in NYC in 1977. Not a lot from The Snake, but he had some teenage kid on keyboards who complimented Harvey's playing pretty darn well.
One of the greatest unknown rock songs of all time Riffs and spliffs aplenty These cats kick some serious butt It's an eleven from Kevin
no theyre piece of bluff
Pfff recuerdos llegan a mi mente, cuando cursaba la prepa... Tantas experiencias, tantas emociones y drogas, llegan a mi mente con cada sonido de este álbum.
Wait a minute this sounds like Rock in/or Roll
Who knows a real good song they did because so far I heard two songs and they both suck but I know Peter Frampton I like him and he died recently
i had front row seats at the denver coliseum back around '73! anybody else there?
I had the chance to see him play in Pennsylvania.. had the album but lost it in a flood there. He was even better live.
Was it Thompson or Martyn who sang this aswell 2 x 2 it's unfortunately around my brain love it but hate as much coolchoice x
Awesome
🗣 I listened to the whole album. In my opinion , *Buzzard* is the *Best* song. However, the other songs are also solid !
Still don't have a copy of this LP, despite having been a Spirit fan for decades. When I was a nipper I used to go to the Broadgate Record Exchange in Lincoln to gaze at it on the wall there. Never had the brass to buy it back then. But I have since had several cooies of '12 dreams.... '.........
What is he cleaning up at 7:30? Did Rod spill water?
Wonder what Ritchie Blackmore thought of Captain Beyond? Reportedly he fired Evans and Semper to get a heavier sound.
The effect comes w/o LSD
ART EMPIRE INDUSTRY
damn i think of Remember Tomorrow by maiden
The GODZ are rock and roll machines
My first concert, priceless.
track 2
Spinal Tap!!!
Jimmy Chamberlin sent me here
The Craig Fuller years. I was in a band during the 1970s and we covered a few tunes from the PPL debut album. Good stuff. The band really swings.
Thank you Josh ! This was a real treat. Robin, Reg, and Jimmy...Oh Yeah !!!
Well the marshall came to town And his hat was pulled way down He looked like he had business on his mind He didn't stop to say He just rode along his way 'Til he stopped in at the office of the mine Dirty business, dirty business Dirty business down in coal creek Dirty business down in coal creek This morning Well, I make two bucks a day And that ain't a healthy pay My kids are just beginning to get sick There's talk been goin' round How they're gonna shut it down If the man don't come and fix things Pretty quick [Chorus] Pretty soon there was a crowd It was getting' pretty loud And the men all said there'd be no work today But the owner wouldn't budge He just sat there like a judge And he wouldn't give a nickel more in pay [Chorus] Just then they heard the sound That rumbled from the ground And everyone was rushing for the door The dust came pouring out And it finally left no doubt That the mine was not at issue anymore (Chorus]
👍🤘
Wore out many cassettes of their first album in our cars back when they came out .

How have i not heard this before! I thought I was hearing led zeppelin at first. Why is this so underrated?
My wife and I were married just a few days after this was recorded on October 14, 1973. Fifty years later we are both "old and in the way"!
Yes you may lol
the vocalist was 5star / should have been much more noticed
Savoy Brown, Foghat,Humble Pie ...
My friend who I’m sitting with in South Portland Maine father was in that band pete doughty
This beats rag doll anyway
The old shit
East Town 1973 I was there
Was One of the most powerful precision drummers on the planet!
i genuinely believe if this guy didn't go to jail in the early 70s him and his band Felt could have been one of the greats, my own personal what if.
Heavy Chevy 🎉
Amazing how music has changed. No disrespect but drummers today put him to shame. Granted they have a half century to learn from.
Wow, I have been away too long.🎉😢😅😊
Marriott’s talent and stage presence was so far beyond any of his contemporaries it’s ridiculous to even try to compare anyone else to him. Tina Turner and Robert Plant in one person 💯 x 💯 x 💯
I’m sure he was a huge inspiration to Freddie Mercury as well
