Another reason us old boys clean first, the ZERO waist. BTW, I fish while a trout line with chicken bones collect 4-5 people's limit in about 30-45 minutes and toss it a bunch back. A rectangular net is under the chicken in between 2 poles. I'm loading up fish while the crab step on net being available to haul in a quick load. Try soft shell, guts pulled, wash, batter, fry, sammich. Crab festival favorite for folks every time I hit my ranches in different states. Love the salt life and clean living.

We used to live in Paducah, KY and my aunt owned a marina in the early 70’s. When we moved away, each year we returned for an annual “Crappie Extravaganza” I remember crying because I wasn’t old enough to go. We did this trip from 1973~2016 when my uncle became ill and then passed. I planned on continuing the tradition but I was paralyzed in 2020 and the trip just stopped happening and I get sick every spring- do remember the good times. I love this channel because Kurt could be a lost brother- y’all are just like our family and the genuine family friendly content makes it easy to become a fan. I ran offshore charters out of a 31’ boat and it was never big enough it seemed, how yall sit in that sliver of plastic is beyond me, I take too much gear! Stay safe and dry! I dont know what the taste of snakehead. Many snakeheads here in the Philippines but their habitat here is not clean.

I am 60sh😂I have been eating crabs before you were born! I purchase and eat crabs 4/5tms per week...been doing this with my own money at 19...PARENTS MONEY since I was a twoyr-old 😅😅😅 Years ago... I showed people how to look for OLD CRABS, RE-COOKED CEABS... Re-heated-Re-heated crabs... They use a lot of seasoning to HIDE the smell & true spoiled taste! DEAD before steaming crabs and rotten crabs😮 Many crabs locations PRE-COOK then RE-HEAT & RE-HEAT AGAIN!!! That's how people get sick!

Great video. I was using a whole live mackerel this one day when I was after a 40 plus inch striper but I hooked a great white shark instead while fishing fom my kayak.
