What size hook is recommended to to vertically store an olympic barbell? I'm looking into building my own home gym.
Home gyms are great. We would recommend either 2 of our Cradle Hooks or 2 of our Heavy Duty Cradle Hooks for this Olympic barbell. Hope this helps. Thanks

Will your shelves work with an existing standard slatwall?
Yes. Our slatwall and accessories are all standard universal (3" on center). So, our shelves and accessories will fit on other slatwall that is also universal (3" on center).
Fabulous! We have a 7-piece set of un-collapsable hand made willow sunroom furniture, but the sunroom had to converted for other uses. So, the willow set has had to be stored in an un-heated & un-airconditioned shed. This video makes me wonder if there's a way all that willow could be stored on one wall of the shed.
How do you install the install strips does it have to be on studs ?
Yes, you are going to want to anchor / fasten the strips to either the studs or concrete blocks.

Can these be cut?
Yes, all our panels can but cut and processed just like wood does. So any woodworking tools and saws will cut the panels very easily to any size.

How do the walls hold up to water/moisture?
Our wall panels are made of solid PVC so they are 100% water and moisture resistant. And will withstand any garage environment.
Hi John! Can these be trimmed with a circular saw? Or do you offer custom sizes? I need one of these for a 44" wide space!
Yep all our panels can be cut down to any size. They cut just like wood does...so any woodwork saws will do the trick (circle saws, table saws, jig saws and etc).

Hello, I just purchased StoreWALL and had a few questions before installing it: 1. What screw length would you recommend for installing the Installstrips to regular 2x4 studs? 2. I would be installing two 12" x 48" panels side by side to make it 8ft wide. My stud layout where I want to install StoreWALL is not perfect and the slatwall panels would hang over about 6 inches past the last stud on the end with no room to adjust (just like how the slatwall extends past the last installstrip on the right in this video). How far can the slatwall safely hang over the stud on the end and still support weight?
Thanks for reaching out. Your problem can be common for some projects. For the panels extending past the last stud by 6inches that should be no problem. The panels themselves are very strong, so I would not worry about it. But I would recommend not putting your heaviest items for this section. For the screws length we recommend either 1 x 5/8" or 2 1/4". But you will also want the screws to be flat head so they are flush with the panel surface in the slots.
Can this be installed on a mason wall?
Absolutely...it is very easy. You just need concrete screws that are flathead and are 3/16 diameter.

Yep. As long as you have concrete screws (flat head) to secure them to the concrete it is no problem.

Houses here don't usually have studs. Do you recommend to install the strips directly into a concrete wall?
The installation system is great and very smart but the finish is not quite there. It is clearly seen where one panel ends and the next one begins.
Great point. Where you have long vertical seams, we offer a trim piece to help cover it up. In addition, we have trim pieces for corners and edges. They are easy to install and really give the system a nice finished look to it.

I noticed you didn’t demonstrate the other vendors locking system for that hook on your storeWALL. Does that mean that if I were to install storeWALL I must use the storWALL branded hooks/fasteners/shelves etc?
Great question. storeWALL products are designed to be universal. So other branded hooks will fit the storeWALL slatwall and vice versa, storeWALL accessories will fit other slatwall systems. storeWALL's universal products are 3" on center. So from the middle of one slot of the slatwall to the middle of the next slot is exactly 3". However, there are a few brands that are proprietary and do not measure at the same 3". Be sure to check before purchasing.
