How to win over religious freedom critics
Every Pioneer Day, Utahns commemorate the pioneers who fled religious persecution to create a better, freer life in the West. This week, we're taking a special look at the current state of religious freedom to answer this question: How can we champion legal protections for religious freedom in a way that wins the support of critics?
Nic Dunn welcomes a special panel of guests to profile Utah's unique approach to advancing religious freedom legislation and to articulate a model for the rest of the nation:
Bill Duncan, Constitutional Law and Religious Freedom Fellow for Sutherland Institute
Sen. Todd Weiler
Rep. Mike Petersen
Robin Fretwell Wilson, Professor of Law at the University of Illinois

I am anchored to the Constitution. However, do we have transparency sufficient, for voters to look at the actual ballots or signatures that create our election results. My wife had a strike 3 years ago and her signature is completely different. However, no one has ever questioned her signature for any of the elections since then. We receive at least 3 additional ballots to our address each election cycle. With any signature seemingly being okay, I question how often ballots are cast improperly. I would feel much safer having in person only voting.

Southerland Institute, there is no Politics in Courts. Covid bioterrorism pandemic have wrongfully killed millions of People in the US and in Worldwide Countries. Covid bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2020 was intentionally masterminded in the shadows by Federation of American-Citizens Scientists (White Jewish Leadership, Republicans, Independents) and their Associates Worldwide; Spies who Bush Administration awarded spy-Contracts and millions of dollars in 2002. Wuhan bio-Lab leakage was not the origin of Covid. Trump and his GOP Allies lied on China as the source of Covid virus, China is a Victim like all other Countries Worldwide which have been affected with Covid pandemic. According to Peter Navarro's comments in KABC News two weeks after Wuhan Covid outbreak in 2020, he said "we had Coronavirus briefing at the White House in November 2019, we were scared to go to sleep at night after the briefing". That means Peter Navarro, Trump and others who attended Covid Briefing at the White House in November 2019 possibly at night time; before Wuhan Covid outbreak in 2020, they should have knowledge in Covid bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2020 and the true source of Covid virus but they covered up. The same bioterrorist-Criminals; Federation of American Scientists and their Associates masterminded in the shadows Global Mexico H1N1 bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2009, they used Homeland Security Clearances in travelling to Cancun Mexico; that way the Border Authorities couldn't inspect their carry-on bags or luggages. Let Authorities investigate in details so that JUSTICE IS SERVED.

If this talkshow is the product of an American 'thinktank', it's really not doing yourselves any favors. "Are protests actually a pillar of American society?", "Are our taxpayers' money going to good use funding the likes of the students that attended these protests and their platform of speech?". Who do you think you are convincing with these obvious questions? Middle-aged Americans that already have their opinion settled on this issue? These points completely miss the ideas that the protesters are attempting to challenge, it's as if these hosts were not educated on expressing rhetoric at all. Even I could do better.

It depends on many factors. My parents were doing so bad waiting for social security that my dad decided to claim it early at 62 and they only get 1,000/month for both and they are 80 now and healthy. But, it is VERY tight for them.

Nonsense. With the rising costs of housing, utilities, food, meducations and medicare, etc the yearly cost of living are far less than the actually cost of living. Year after year the amount you get on Social Security covers less and less. One year the cost-of-living increase was completely eaten up by the increase in the monthly Medicare Part B increase. And the vast majority of seniors are singles whose spouse has died so that single person is at the poverty level. We are NOT GOING TO CALM DOWN.

$20hr is only 40k a year. *you have to work for 80 years in order to buy a home to live in their not including interest* renting a place to live is just about that alone in CA where the wedge is 20. so it sounds like a lot but its just enough money to live in your car or on the street. because 40k a year doesn't cover utilities or even the car payment on a used car.

No one is bound by the minimum wage that was an extremely biased statement everyone has the freedom to quit and pursue other jobs it’s literally laziness that keeps most people from punching thru the minimum wage there should be no reason at all McDonalds works should be making 20 dollars an hour all your doing is inflating jobs and potentially getting the current employees fired and replaced by technology which is rapidly becoming more reliable good luck defending this stance.
