I purchased the STARLINK MINI when it was exclusively available for existing customer as an add-on to the residential plan. In this video, I do an unboxing of the STARLINK MINI and do the initial setup. Also during the setup download the latest software update. I purchased the Renogy 72000mAh 266Wh 12v Power Bank to power the Mini for more portability. After the setup and configuring the network, I conducted serval network speed test through the native STARLINK app and the Speediest by Ookla app. After I drove to Point Mugu Rock to test out the STARLINK MINI in an area with no obstruction. The STARLINK Mini phased array antenna connected successfully and conducted a simple speed test and the advance speed test on the STARLINK app. The Renogy 72000mAh 266Wh 12v Power Bank worked like a charm and powered the STARLINK MINI without any interruptions. STARKLINK MINI is totally worth it especially now that you are able to use different plans and upgrade your existing Mini Roam plan.
