the transfer of this child from Belgium to Necker hospital (Europe's largest hospital for children) was perhaps not an Emergency, and the helicopters are kept in reserve for more serious cases: heart attack, multi traumatized, etc....... in France, there are lots of idiots who come to the Emergency Room for a little fever, they have nothing to do in the Emergency Room, the doctor from a medical office can be enough ! and at night, there are night doctors!!

Many of you ask: Why not take a helicopter? Brussels is 300km away from Paris (max). It will take more time by helicopter. Especially with an escort.
