You should give it a go! The first 2-3 times are the worst but once you get past that fear it’s really not that bad.

Ahh okay fair enough! It gets expensive when you’re buying ice. I was buying lots in the summer before I switched to making my own. What part of the world are you in?

Unfortunately my right hand gets super achey pretty fast so I’ve just been keeping it out of the water.

So far so good! Today is day 7 of using my ice bath since I’ve patched it and as far as I can tell there’s no trapped water in the bottom of my tub. 🤞

You’re right, nothing funny about drinking and driving. I’ve made mistakes in my past that I am paying for today. I try my best to make up for all the damage I did by abstaining from alcohol these days and I’m 16 months sober. In the full version of this video I say “in all seriousness this blowbox is a result of many many poor choices involving drinking and driving when I was younger and a lot stupider. I’m grateful I never hurt myself or worse anyone else while behind the wheel and I’m grateful to still be able to drive today. There’s no excuse for drinking and driving guys, it’s just not worth it so find another way home.”

Yeah I don’t get it either, they do advise that you pull over but 90% of the time it’s just not possible. Depends on the day but sometimes even in just a short couple minute drive it’ll have 2-3 mid drive beeps.

Definitely a good idea man! I lost my license twice in the same year which is why I have this. Learned my lesson though and haven’t had a drink 16 months. Very fortunate that no one got hurt when I was behind the wheel.

I’ve just started very recently with the cold showers and now with the ice bath! It’s all new but I sure feel good afterwards.

jupp and i go to swim in a lake several days per week in the spring and autumn also. i try some cold bath with hundreds of ice cubes too. just the first 15-20min are very cold but when ur breathing calms down is an hour very easy.
