Double hammock sweetheart, brainchild of a TBW mama a couple years ago... Very easy tweak to a standard double hammock, just twist the chest pass once in front for a sweetheart neckline! Wrap in this video is a size 6 Diva Milano Veneziano Arancio. Babywearing blog: www.SABcollective.com

zhlédnutí 485Před 10 lety
Nursing in short cross carry (SCC) with ring size 4 woven wrap, large sling ring. Sound is totally wonky, my computer hates me, sorry! Welded craft rings aren't suitable for BWing, but sling rings are weight tested for carrying babies! slingrings.com/index.php Babywearing blog: SABcollective.com

DH lexi twist
zhlédnutí 2KPřed 11 lety
Double hammock w/ lexi twist, tied at side. Starts on middle marker, great for people who don't like ruck straps or chest belts! I lied at the beginning of the video, I think this is doable with your regular DH base size... My tails are actually pretty long using one size up! Babywearing blog: SABcollective.com
Short back cross carry (wiggleproof version)
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 11 lety
SBCC from the bottom-up same outcome as a regular SBCC, but does a wiggle proof 2nd pass instead of cross pass. Candy cane chest belt finish. Fair warning: H bit me *really* hard and I shriek around the 2:30 mark. Babywearing blog: SABcollective.com

Thanks for this video! I was looking for a lexitwiat back carry to share!
Seriously cutest video ever! I love you for putting this up, this is real mom life and real wrapping! Lol. Gorgeous wrap!!
he is extra handsome!!!
This very pod will arrive tomorrow!!!
Love the toestretching of those babayfeet <3
I love how real this video is. Children can be such monsters.
how long are your shoulder straps?
That is a gorgeous mei tai love it I like the ribozo passes
I love this!!!
what size wrap are you using? Thank you!
Thanks you for this! Quick question, how big was your baby in this when using the Toddler Tula?
Sorry I didn't see this earlier! He was 18mo in this video, 28lb or so if I remember correctly!
Laughed so hard! Great tutorial!
I'm totally laughing right now! I'm sorry but that was funny. Can't wait to give this carry a try.
OMG Your wrap is stunning!!!!!! What is it? I would love to buy one! Thanks!
Katy, I don't think it would be possible because Sweetheart needs one pass going in each direction across the bust, DH only has one.
I would love to know what the name of this Mei Tai is...I absolutely love it and am curious what it retails for and where? Thanks so much
Great video! I miss you on TBW (Janet). Didn't know you had another baby! Congrats mama! Aubrey/cfarmfolks shared your "Mei Tai back carry, all straps TT" video - thebabywearer.com/forum/threads/june-2014-your-ssc-mt-abc-of-the-day.531730/page-12#post-6258661 - that we've found very helpful. Hope to see you on TBW again soon.
Going to try this one out. I'm going camping this coming week. I usually front carry but this will be more comfortable I think. Plus it looks very cute!! ❤
Love this! Just made myself a Toddler sized WCMT and my 1 year old isn't quite big enough so this is prefect! haha jugs of doom... that is great!
Lol jugs of doom! Awesome. Love this carry thank you so much!
Thanks so much! I love the last one! Very helpful!
How long are your straps?
Ahh! Sorry I didn't see this earlier! This MT doesn't live here anymore, so I can't measure, sorry! As far as I know, these are standard Obi straps, she may have the info on her site.
No problem I figured it out
this is my favourite mei tai carry!
This video was interesting, educational, and intensely heart pounding! I love your tutorials, and could feel every ounce of your pain with your LO popping his seat and squirming like that! Mine has calmed down some now, but he's WORSE than this when DH tries to wrap him, and he definitely doesn't have the patience that I do! Haha. Bless...
Would it be possible to do the sweetheart pass with lexi twist? If so could you do a video?! :)
AHHH! Sorry I didn't actually respond to this promptly... Any DH variation can be made sweetheart -- just do a quick twist in the middle of your chest pass :D
Genius! Thanks!
Oh, Gluck. <3 I'm seriously considering saving the money for this wrap. It was love at first sight.
Thanks for this greatly informative tutorial! I'm curious what the width and length of your Podaegi straps are. They look wider than most of the other pod staps I have seen. Love your WC pod too. We have a Marley in our home as well. :-)
Thanks for this! Very helful!
Lol this was sooo me a couple days ago! I have a major seat popper and since I am newer to wrapping it can get discouraging sometimes! Loved watching this and seeing you keep going!
We just got a pod and are loving it! Do you plan to post more videos with your WC pod? I'd love to learn more carries!
@emwhist do you only apron tie because of the panel height, or do you find it offers more support? I'm waiting on my first WCMT to come in and just curious since my 10 month old weighs 30 lbs lol
I am BEHIND on comments! I do apron-style mostly for panel size, but I find it a bit easier/more comfortable anyway :)
Love that he is playing with your hair. <3 Great video!
So glad to see you back :-)
Thanks!! Baby H is now toddler H and he wants to walk everywhere, but wrap strike is on the wane (for now)!
Woohoo! I cant wait for my little girl stops protesting the wrap :/
awesome job! Love the video!
Love it! Ruck tends to hurt my shoulders to, I can't wait to give this a try
Love "leg straightening demon" hahah! You gave me a good laugh :)
thank you so much! I've been wanting to try this carry since I bought my wrap :) I love this carry and your video was really easy to follow!
which wrap is this?
Thank you so so much for this tutorial, I managed to get my very wriggly, seat-popping 9 month old up nice and securely and she was very happy (and Mama was very comfy). This is my new favourite carry! I have serious wrap envy, btw!
I know I probably shouldn't, but I totally giggled at this- starting with his first attempt to use you as a chew-toy. Mine does that to me when we're sitting on the floor together- except he likes to get my toes. Those widdle teef HURT! I'm always amazed at how beautiful your wrap ends up despite his excessive wiggling. Mine does that and he ends up tilted weird. :/
Mine is RIGHT NOW! I got started pretty late in the game so he doesn't do so well with adjustments and such. He LOVES being wrapped, though, and always looks so hopeful when I get ready to try again, so that's my silver lining! I'm still trying to convince the hubbs to get a hat like that for OUR little owl. It would remain on his head for probably about 15 seconds, but those would be the most adorable 15 seconds of ever. Lol!
Ahhh! Thanks for the comment, I went back and watched again today, he was so cute... I miss the days when he was so calm during the wrapping process, he's such a wiggler now!
That hat.... I know it's definitely not the subject of this video but I was entranced by its journey the duration of the video- so I watched it again to see the wrap job. This looks gorgeous, so one day I might give it a try! Great video, mama!
LMAO!! I love that this vid is so real!! Way to go mamas!
Oh my, Em, I am really lmao here :) That's what my nephew does!
Excellent, very helpful!
Eres una artista!
I wonder how much variation I can do with my crappy Sash... My shoulders are killing me.
