Scripture Song Revival

Hello and welcome to Scripture Song Revival. Scripture songs have been a part of my life for many years and have been a big help in memorizing the powerful word of God.
As time has gone by however, I’ve begun to realize that fewer and fewer people know the songs, and I’ve asked myself “where have all the scripture songs gone?”
At the same time I began to feel a sense of urgency to share what I knew before it was lost. Contained here is a compendium of songs that span several decades, so I consider it somewhat of a historical project as well.
For this reason I’ve included as many songs as I could, regardless of musical quality. Many have been written by personal friends, and have the beauty, pathos, and power that all good Christian music should have.

I am enjoying your songs, but I have to tell you that I get some real chuckles out of the CZcams automatic transcription! For example, in this song, it transcribes it like this: "I will but lay me down lay me down these and sleep and sneeze... Some far Mercedez only maketh me dwell in safety..." Well, good thing I can understand you just fine. AI needs to do some catching up on CZcams! 🙂
