      Thank you. I believe the motors are 45 rpm. I am not sure about the ratio but they use pretty common 12v brushed dc motors.

    Hello, I have one question. When you bake the mold, you put it in the casting chamber in the vacuum system, I'm not entirely clear why? A negative pressure is created in the chamber around the mold, but the metal is poured into the cavity in the mold in which there is air.Somehow it doesn't make sense to me . Next question . The red seals look like silicone rubber, it has a typical temperature resistance of up to 300C (560F), but for example the material for making a mold for casting gold Prestige UNICAST has a firing temperature of 750C (1350F).

    You take a lot of effort to make this wheels, but i am afraid, that the motors you selected may not be powerfull enough, especially with very heavy wheel. Another fact is that you used 3D printed form. You should use machined one. All this air removal is partialy waisted by the roughnes of the form.

    You could add a square base to the bottom of the crankcase. This would give you a mount for the engine to sit upright on, and something to hold onto when working on it. A couple of mounting holes in this base would help to mount it, say in a model boat or car. There were a lot of old spark ignition model engine with split crank cases back in the 1940's.

    This is an excellent design. I agree with you in that if it were made of metal - ideally stainless but also do a more expensive variant in Ti because people will pay premium prices for those - it would be perfect. Your problem now is finding a manufacturer as I am sure there is a market for these. I suppose you could sell a patent to Leatherman and they would promptly bury it because such a driver would reduce their sales of multitools, because many in the EDC community are now changing over to carrying Knipex Cobra pliers plus a knife. I've been looking into various alternatives for months now and trust me there isn't much out there. The Big Ideas Design Ti EDS is probably the best but it costs £130 which converts to $160, more than a quality multitool costs. At the moment I carry either a Wera 813 bit holder handle with the 2 inch Wera extender and bits of my choice, it's only about the size of a Bic lighter and is very capable. Other days I carry a Sabrecut mini ratchet with the same Wera extender and bits, it's about 84mm long so shorter than a regular Swiss Army knife and differs from any other mini ratchet (except for a couple for bikes but they are over 4 inches long) in that it has a bit holder in the end of the handle so it also can be used as an inline driver.

      @Levi_Sheridan Před rokem

      The traction is great, haven’t done any actually measurements but my 5 pound robot with two wheels was able to push over 20 pounds of books. You could definitely make the silicone thinner. How much, I am unsure. I will be making a video about the full robot in approximately 3 months.

    To calibrate a 0 to 1 micrometer all you need to do is bring the anvils together and turn the barrel with the spanner wrench you have and line it up with the dile. That's how to zero it out. No gage block is needed for a o to 1.

    Hi, I would like you to cast bullets made of copper. There's a HUGE market for casting copper as currently lead is how people cast. Copper bullets are much better but the high melting point makes it difficult to cast. If you could solve a way to use the equipment you have to cast bullets it would be awesome. Even a video with a thumbnail of casting copper bullets would go vial. Even at a bargain a quality bullets is $0.40, idk how many you can make but if you could make 100 bullets in an hour casting. That's $40 , idk if that's worth it but seems like good money:)
