I am trying to find the exact name of the bed my mamaw had it was a Murphy style bed with similar designs but the most detailed design cut into the wood and when pulled out huge coil springs but it was a huge piece on metal wheels I know it was 1900 to 1940s it was gave to a cousin a teen that had no respect of older antiques so im just trying to see if anyone knows what the formal name may have been I have pics of it but closed not opened

Very well-thought-out ! I have a competitors Murphy and found this site by searching headboard options, apparently I have to build my own since Forest Designs decided that for 6000.00 you don't get any headboard just a 8 inch gap from mattress to the wall so the pillows can fall down there, and you can't sit up in bed lol

There is no headboard.How do you prop up the pillows or keep them under your head?
The only thing that is frustrating to me in these types of examples is that the monitors are never really hooked up, so you don't really know how it works with cables attached to the monitor like it would be in real life. It would be great to see real-world examples.
Looks like you would probably have to drill a hole near the base of the monitor to have the cables look neat
This would work best with a laptop.
I would make the bottom of the bed look more like a nice wall and mount the monitor to the bottom of the bed and hang some pictures. Cables could be hidden that way and it gives you more room for a laptop and now you have two monitors.
