I think if we see more non-standard one-handed primaries, then a reliable and balanced head-popper like the verdict will be able to shine. Seems like a decent side-grade as is.

I haven't unlocked it yet, but it looks like it needs more staggering capability. Shooting a hand cannon and having the bots continue to menacingly advance on you makes it seem underwhelming...

Not to discredit the video u know we want the weapon used but most of what i hear is the senator can do it to or better and it can be used like the senator. Im glad they buffed the senator with a speed load cause the community swapped there view on it instantly but ita funny now hearing everyone say compared to the senator when it used to be called slow and weak compared to the base pistol. If they give it meduim armor pen id probably rotate it with my other main side arms senator and grenade pistol cause it would be a good group meduim hitter compared to the senators high stopping power but low mag. Id like it for if im being chased by meduims to lay fire down cause i use my senator for that atm but thw drawback is the ammo function it would be nice if i could see this as a comparable choice the less damage would help it balance and even for me wouldnt be a drawback as i want it more for the consistent suppress. It doesnt need to stager as good as senator but if it had meduim pen i think it would fit better and see more use. If its not changed i think it will just be overshadowed and gather dust for most players over time.

I used bothe verdict and senator. And i prefer senator of bot. Accuracy is better. And the red dot is nice. Verdict for me is ok for bots, and better vs bugs. Mor ammo cuz mor bugs

Additionally, you can use it to get a sorta higher ground, standing on top of it. I just wish the upgrade that makes turrets rotate faster also applied to this.

Imo it should go back to the way it was before the nerf, just with less ammo. That way you have to choose which targets you want to use it against carefully. No more than 8 rounds like the Grenade pistol. A very useful weapon but you have to be careful how you use it.

It was never a good gun, people only used it because there was no real alternative for chargers and titans. With how effective rocket launchers are now and flamethrower, arc thrower, quasar. No need for the railgun As for bots, sniper and autocannon do the same role but better

It's very good vs bots, especially if you don't want to run EAT/RR and want something that is very viable vs medium and heavy enemies. (Also it seems to be able to 1 shot bile titans to their heads with 90%+ charge, at least I managed to do so a few times)

The HMG can also melt Gunships and can even penetrate the head of a Factory Strider. The last one will still probably kill you if you try tho so it isn't advised.

3 shots to the head in unsafe mode & it’ll bring down a charger, i have just gone back to using it recently & it goes okay. Changed back after they increased the cool-down time of the quasar cannon

It took 2 safe shots to break Charger armor pre-nerf, so I think 2 unsafe shots isn't too bad

well it took a nerf but i can tell you from experience that with sufficient skill levels you can still make it work. i killed like 8 teamates few hours ago

it just needs to be able to kill chargers in a reasonable amount of shots and it would be a solid choice. Right now you’re better off taking expendables for chargers, 500kg for titans, and just kitting to kill medium armor

It shouldn't be meta, but as it is it doesn't have any use that other weapons can't do better. Despite being capable to quickly kill Hive guards, brood commanders, devastators and Hulks if you have good aim, even in safe mode. It's ammo economy and bad optics doesn't make it reliable for that in comparison to AMR, AC and even the Laser cannon. And since it can't really deal with the heaviest units, like BTs, tanks, cannon turrets and above all gunships, even while shooting unsafe shots at the vents/weakpoints (at least not without nearly emptying it) it does leave the Railgun in an awkward position amongst other support weapons

This thing is a must-have in any defense mission, against bots and bugs alike. Like with all sentries, it must be placed with care

I played with a little the other day and I think it's best use has been taking out entire patrols before they see you or cause a bug breach. Also found you want to aim low if you want more consistent results. Very fun support weapon, but not the greatest.

You practically have to play with a team, let them take agro and flank the bugs, it's a very situational weapon but can easily get like 30 plus kills per shot

I think the airbust rocket was fixed, the "proximity fuse" thing only looks for any enemies which are in "flying" state. When a hunter bug jump, they're in "flying" state, so look out for them before shooting, as they love to fly to your face.... Otherwise it will only explode on impact like an usual rocket would. This thing and eagle cluster bomb is nice if you can grasp a whole patrol/group in sight and plan a good throw. It will eliminate all the grunts who can call bot drop or bug breach. The difference was that Eagle has bigger aoe, while this airbust can still be usable even when the mission runs out of time.

You can purchase the permanent version of the Airburst Rocket in the Strategem section on your command ship. Then use it wherever.

you should have gone under the strider and started magdumping into the factory strider belly with your AMR

Skill issue

I had a 5 minute last stand where I'd used up every bullet, grenade, stim, and stratagem I had just to distract the automatons long enough to get my teammates respawned and extracted

took you 4 years to reinforce.... 2/10

You can take out the Strider's miniguns with like 4 shots from the AMR. Doing so would have removed a lot of pressure since it be becomes more or less harmless.

Respawns saw ATAT runs towards ATAT and bases stood on high ground and got surrounded > surprised pikachu face ran towards bases got shot from all direction and died >tragic death. bro...

i had one that didn't shoot back, after several failed attempts to finish it off, i quit trying and walked away, it followed me for the rest of the damn mission. any time i tried to walk up to it, it would back away from me.

Burst fire it

I've been using it a lot and its not supposed to mag dumped, bursts while prone with it and the recoil isn't bad at all and also the recoil is always the same when prone if you can learn the recoil pattern its really strong and if it had its mag buffed or recoil reduced it would simply outclass the other MGs making them completely useless

when I heard this mg only had 75 rounds it really turned me off from ever trying it
