😂 you are correct! So it’s actually a check valve that you switch when filling up the water tank of the RV.
Enjoyed your point -of-view. . .I'm always fascinated with the engineering of these things. About a block away for our condo, we watched them erect one about a month ago. (As you mentioned the closer to the tower the heaver the lift) how much can be lifted (next to the cab and out on the end of the jib?
@@scottmarquiss7941 on that particular tower Crane my max capacity at the closest radius was 32,000 and at the tip with that configuration was around 8500

@@scottmarquiss7941 typically on the height of a tower Crane you can look at each section which is 20 feet. Often cases, the jib sections are the same, but it depends on the Crane

Great video! Thank you. We will be doing this to our 5th wheel soon. I was trying to sort out how I'd cover the forward area of the camper as most of the 'professional' skirts seem to, but noticed you didn't do it. I'm curious as to why you didn't. Our lithium batteries are in that front storage area and I'm concerned it will get below freezing in there and harm the batteries when they charge.
Sincerely, thank you! Our batteries are actually on the side, but I left the front open because we have our outdoor freezer that I store under there as well as access to our generator and propane. Also, I have our trash bins under there because we don’t have a trash service out on the property. It keeps it dry until I take it to the dump once a week. Awesome Job! It was also our top choice and looks good. You did a professional-looking job! Pointers we learned that might also help you: You may want to add insulation under the slide floor and on its sides - those are built thinner. If you number the boards or label them, then it will make it easier to reuse them another winter. We also used landscaping spikes to keep it off the ground. For around the tires, we just continued it with insulation boards and a tarp underneath for a minor gap. Irish Spring soap does work to keep out snakes, opossums, rats, raccoons, and mice...and so does the smell of peppermint (essential oil). I guess it is just a different smell animals don't like it. Also, use steel wool to fill piping gaps for mice. A heated hose works well, and don't forget to insulate all the hoses - pool noodles or pipe insulation combo. Use the silver relexit for windows and odd spots (water pipe top wrap), and a dehumidifier inside for condensation - no mold.

I love your advice. I liked and subscribed. Im a ironworker and ive been trying to apply to be a unin crane operator evry two years. Siince thats when they open their application period but evry time i try it says sorry applications full even though i was on the website before they even opened their applications. i was wondering if there is a better way to get in the union since i alredy have my class A and i have rigging experience.
I bought 1/2" foam installation then purchase faux brick panels to put over it. Cost me less than $400 for all. Mine is 39' trailer rv.
