Ape Defense pistol grip review
I am going to give it a fair shot and run it as hard as you can run a grip without actually dropping the rifle on the ground.
After install I was really happy with how it felt. It’s the perfect width / length, allowing the pad of your finger to properly rest on the trigger.

Stock trigger internals Mcarbo trigger shoe (adjustable) Cajun gun works 4.4lb striker spring Overwatch np3 striker I tried the stock spring, overwatch 3.5, and the CGW 4.4. The 3.5 is light as keeps the factory creep after the wall, where this one almost has a second wall. Which people are going to love or hate. The CGW is slightly longer w/ more coils. I assume this is what makes it so different from the competition. I wasn’t too sure about it at first, but find it very predictable and like it. The overwatch striker claims to take 1/2lb off the trigger. I can’t say I noticed that, but maybe it’s smoother? Hard to say. I feel like the plastic housing it slides in doesn’t do it any favors. Mcarbo - you can’t go wrong with this. You will end up taking apart your pistol multiple times and become a master gunsmith after installing the damn thing, but it doesn’t get any better than this trigger shoe. Pre and post adjustment of travel.

Tho the company did not respond to my question, I believe that you are correct and this is made by PBF using nylon. No layer lines are present, therefore the bond is very close to a solid object. I actually love the grip after spending some time with it I recently found something out that was quite interesting. Many people are under the impression that the b5 battery plug can be used with this grip, and it can, but it fits extremely tight. like tap it in with a rubber mallet and use a tool to take it out
Update: I have since moved this grip over to my main build. It feels exceptional, and in my opinion there is not a better option out there. I am pretty confident that it would fail to a magpul type grip in a torture test, but for the average citizen or those running and gunning in some drills, it is more than sufficient.
I didn't know there were aluminum end plates in circulation. Who makes those so I can avoid them?
Radian, phase 5, strike. I bought it for the QD attachment point back in 2021 when parts were very hard to come by. They make great charging handles but they tend to make hyped up nonsense design changes to things that are proven and do not need changing. I wouldn’t spend the extra money on their rifles.

Echo Zulu Castle Nuts are easiest that makes perfect staking in a maybe 30 seconds. The kit comes with nut, staking jig, auto punch, & wrench with built in jig. Brownells sells the kits
