In this episode, we do part 1 of our trip down the river in the new Manta Angler by Lifetime. We went through some class 1 rapids, I did some maneuvering, we stopped for lunch (timelapse), and I caught a fish!

I was there watching that is an awsome time. Unfortunately the guy has some more work to get done now. Glad everybody was safe after that as well sometimes it doesn't go well for some people.
@@albertjenkins8121 I heard that it was a bad U joint that blew. My cousins soon to be husband Austen, his family owns that truck. So nothing too major.
@@Ohio_Hobbies_Guy exactly what I had thought an heard myself glad everyone is safe an sound for sure an glad to see people are getting videos of the pulls out there I don't ever want to see the pulls die off at fairs is one of the best pasttime memories I've had of fairgrounds is the tractor pulls or just the ostpa in general
Never stand close to high horsepower. Old days, people were getting hurt when super chargers were blowing up. Straps were installed to minimize projectiles. High rpms and high torque on parts made for normal operating conditions will fail prematurely. Flying parts cut through bodies with ease.

i own a manta angler myself too, one question i wanted ask if you, going upstream, did you had a hard time? or did you get a chance to do so?
@tiduti i went up stream in the video some. For the most part it seemed to track and go upstream pretty easy. Then again it's also a slow moving river. I did notice when I didn't paddle and had a headwind, I would actually move up stream some.
@@Ohio_Hobbies_Guy really appreciate the comment, i only used it a couple times and that has been with a calm open water, but wanted to try going into streams but didnt know if its going to be a hard time. I will have to try on slower current first, thank you so much for the reply
@tiduti one thing to note for streams. Avoid rapids. While it does power through them, you may lose a wheel skeg. Luckily if you registered it, lifetime will replace it. Shallow water the wheels catch too. That's been my only complaint.

I need to order one more umbrella for my 2nd kayak 🛶 i have . I have a question ? Is the kayak 🛶 comfortable for being barefooted 👣 ? I have to kayak 🛶 barefooted 👣 because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & i can't wear shoes , socks , & boots because my foot outgrow them when I was young . I also like how you did the video barefooted 👣 too because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are i had to grow up being barefooted 👣 or wearing flip flops 🩴 so i am a barefooted 👣 Kind of guy . I was born with very very extremely wide feet 🦶 so . But the kayak 🦶 i am thinking about about getting this kayak 🛶 to have cuz i have a very huge family with 6 boys , Granddaughter , Grandson , daughter in law , wife , & if someone wants to come kayaking 🛶 with us i have a kayak 🛶 for them to ride on . That thing looks sickkkkk. Im in canada.....cant get them here😔 i just saw this..... now thinking this or the pelican pwr100. But this is cheaper and wider. is also has the made for a trolling motor. Does it have the outlets to hook up the trolling motor. Like the pelican pwr? I have the pelican classic 100 and terribleeee tracking.

@3ccdmike nope. Figured it would be easier to just do 1. So far staying had paid off. Learning how to boost content that's not your main content with just a few upload tricks really helps.

@@Ohio_Hobbies_Guy yes it do man . 95% of the shoes company don't think about people that have big or very very extremely wide feet 🦶 . They only go up to sizes 13 or regular width when everyone feet 🦶 are different . So it suck because my toes are Evenly straight across is mostly my problem . But I was born with very very extremely wide feet 🦶 so I have had to live my life barefooted 👣 before I couldn't find anything to fit me or I only could wear open toes footwear mostly flip flops 🩴which barely & I mean barely fit me because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴straps & this still go on to this day .

@johnlegg6837 you need a firing system with ematch yes. It is unsafe and very dangerous to light quickatch by hand

I have a couple of lifetime tamaracks which I like but dont feel comfortable standing on. I think they solved that issue with this kayak.
@Two_Buck they definitely got it right with the wide platform area. I'm not used to standing so my balance is a little shaky but I'm going to go out as soon as my roof rack comes in and get practice out on the big lakes near me.

@riverratfishing we are a bit concerned based on my brothers knowledge of tuning these and how much power we will actually get out of it. Both of my brothers know how to tune them so that they can essentially double their horse power. We are considering adding a legit wheelie bar set up along with getting a set of used Jr dragster slicks purely for testing purposes. Both acceleration and top speed runs. Based on some very rough calculations, we expect it to do a minimum of 85mph based on gearing and wheel size. Based on all that we elected for a 5 point harness 😂
