@@c4v3m4n27 I mean…sure, I have considered that. However it’s still misguided IMO. Did the “2 month advanced influencer batch review” influence anyone to preorder Harry Potter, Ron and Hermoine? This influencer batch would make sense if the next figure down the pipeline/reveal was another figure from any of the Batman universe’s…but it was either HP, Dune, and maybe LoTR. So it still doesn’t make sense to me, know what I mean?

@@BrooklynWolfTheCollector The Joker one's made me interested in The Batman, and Aragorn, and Superman, and Paul. And now that The Batman is out ,I'm certainly looking forward to their BVS Batman. Everyone gets in at different times and maybe once influencers get Harry or Michel Jackson, Batman or Wonder Woman might be up for pre order. Is it a perfect system? No, but I see a lot of people just dismissing it because either a) they aren't in the fist batch or b) they think it's useless because you can't pre-order the figure during the influencer batch. I just think that misses the point.

@@c4v3m4n27 well sure. Because of the Joker (due to the timeline, we should be talking about TDK Joker) I’m assuming you’ve been following IA since day one. Justin’s preview of the proto I’m sure encouraged you to click the preorder button on an unproven company during that time. And it paid off. Because now you’re interested in all things IA. But there are those collectors that only stick to one IP or variations of their fav character, and in this case: Batman. As I said before, following the I.B reviews were the reveals for the HP trio. Unsurprisingly PO numbers were low. HP and The Batman are not even in the same wheelhouse. Again, had the next reveal been Catwoman or TDK Batman, I can see an argument for the I.B. being necessary. But that wasn’t the case. All the I.B. did was make collectors like myself that have PO’d EVERY IA figure (save for Pennywise, a decision I still regret) feel like 2nd rate customers. Even you admitted it’s not perfect. It’s not about ‘’dismissing it” or “aren’t in the 1st batch” etc etc. it’s about feeling slighted by this I.B. strategy because devoted IA fans, that have their fav online vendor page loaded up HOURS in advance with the alarm clock set to alert them the moment PO’s go live, want to feel like they’re valued. Consider this: Had the I.B. reviews dropped the same time as mine…would that have made a HUGE difference in IA’s current marketing strategy? IMO, no. But would a super early hands on preview of a prototype video help? Well, it worked for you and me. So…I’d say, yes.

@@c4v3m4n27 Inart really do themselves no favours when it comes to their messaging and the clarity of their communications. For instance, back in March on their official FB page, Inart used words such as "shipped", "shipping", "released", "by the end of March". Now when most people hear or read those words it gives them the impression that their order will be with them shortly, as it is does when videogames, blu-rays are released and when new films begin airing at the cinema. So customers - in particular those who pre-ordered early - were given the impression that they'd be receiving their orders in late March/early April. But this was never the case. The "influencers", a pitiful handful of them at that, started to get their figure roughly 3 weeks after Inart made their "shipping" FB post. It was well into April and not in March like they said. Weeks passed, and then months. Inart Batman became legend. Legend became myth (sorry, couldn't be helped). After THREE months, customers finally began to receive their orders. Though most, if not all, of those were the rooted editions. The sculpted versions, the figures that are supposedly a lot faster to produce were nowhere to be seen. We are now heading towards August, some four months after the figure was "shipped", "released".... And how many customers have the figure: a lousy 10%!! Again, where is the communication? Inart tell us to contact the retailers for more information, yet when we contact respectable sellers such as OSK, we're told that only Inart knows the answer the our question?? To call this service amateur would be too kind. When will the second batch be released? How large will it be? If it's only going to be another 10%, does that mean that the final 10%, the 90-100% of customers will not get their Batman figures for approx 6-8 months??

@@joseluisbarron3677 it’s not the same thing though. Those photos are from bloggers that live in HK/China, where these figures are produced. so naturally they get everything first.

HT blogger pics tend to swiftly be followed by general release. InArt sent this to influencers several months ago and many stores still don’t have their stock due to the slow rollout of small small batches at a time. HT having global distribution rights and Sideshow on their side certainly helps them to release a figure to multiple markets at a time. Since IA are typically bound to selling in mainland China, everyone else must wait in line.

🤣🤣🤣 then it’s a good thing I don’t collect the black series. I will admit, now that I have Mando Luke, I am a bit more forgiving of the old one. it was rough when that old one was the only option, especially when HT kept recycling it as if it was a portrait sculpted by the gods and not knowing when a true update or 2.0 is coming.

Then I pre-ordered the attack of the clones padme and anakin together, and that would be my second purchase of a hot toys figure

😉😉I absolutely was referring to ‘that which is making waves’, and ALSO this Anakin being an awesome representation of the actor lol. More importantly I’m happy you enjoyed the video. It’s been a while because I’ve been raising my -now 7 month baby daughter-. So while ive been collecting figures, I just didn’t have time to do any new videos 🥲. But for Anakin, I just HAD to do it because he is my 2nd fav SW character of all time (Luke being 1st). I love Lucas’ SW as those movies really affected me in deep ways. They helped shape me into who I am today 😊. And I agree with you wholeheartedly: those were MUCH simpler times and I yearn for us to return to those days. So I’m right there with you. This figure activated the nostalgia and I hope I was able to convey that through this video. Thanks again for watching my man! P.s. I passed on the recent Obi Wan because I’m not the biggest fan of the expression HT gave him. I’m hoping they do an EP3 2.0 someday.

Understandable on Clone Wars Kenobi, I couldn't resist the moment I saw the attire he was wearing plus the cape. Definitely agree that they should do updated sculpts of Revenge of the Sith Obi Wan & Anakin sculpted options or update Obi Wan's sculpt via an Episode 2 release, sculpted and Artisan. That would actually give a fully screen accurate armored + cape Obi Wan for those that want to swap out heads since he would have the swept back mullet. Again, happy to wait for new content, keep them coming whenever you can!

I’m glad you love it. I’m just glad Rocket recognized the shortcomings with their stock body and revamped it for Kakashi. Now THAT is an amazing figure and it gives me confidence for the line.
