Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) is one of the world's leading contemporary dance companies, led by Artistic Director Emily Molnar. The group is based in The Hague, but performs worldwide. Since its founding in 1959 by Benjamin Harkarvy, Aart Verstegen and Carel Birnie in collaboration with eighteen dancers from the Dutch National Ballet, NDT has paved its own way in the modern dance field. Choreographers such as Glen Tetley and Hans van Manen have prominently left an avant-garde mark on the artistic face of the company.

Purtroppo abbiamo paura oltre che necessità e bisogno, della bellezza... Questo crea conflitto interiore, ed infelicità. Quando ne prendi consapevolezza, puoi chiedere aiuto al cosmo. In questa coreografia magnifica invece, tutto è armonia. Si sta in equilibrio sulle onde, siamo molto potenti, se amiamo, perdoniamo, siamo affettuosi, con noi stesse. Grazie ❤❤
Ich habe die Vorstellung am 5.4.24 19:30 Uhr im National Theater Amsterdam besucht und war sehr beeindruckt. Ich hätte aber gerne mehr Text über den Hintergrund der Choreografie gefunden. Also wie hier im Video, eine zusätzliche verbale Erklärung zu den gezeigten Figuren. Wo es um eine intendierte Unterscheidung mentaler Zustände geht. Aber in dem Welcome-Flyer zu "The beauty of it all" war leider nichts zu finden. Man musste sich daher die beabsichtigten Darstellungsmotive und die Erzählung bei der 35 Minütigen Aufführung der Tanzgruppe selbst zusammenreimen. Auch die Einbeziehung mehrerer Besucher aus dem Publikum am Ende erfolgte nicht ohne ein Script mit einem Konzept, ähnlich wie in einem Film. Ich habe Vorstellungen des Niederländischen Tanztheater (NDT) in den letzten 10 Jahren dreimal besucht, in Berlin, Friedrichshagen und Amsterdam. Ich empfinde manche von den Choreografien als besonders gut durchdacht und bereichernd. Auch die Eintrittspreise sind sehr niedrig (ich hatte 13 Euro in Amsterdam) Danke für Eure Arbeit !🙂
