Does no one wonder about the sound quality of the recording or the amazing photography to wonder about the spontaneity of this event? I believe it happened, I believe that the crowd gathered and sang, but I also believe that the video was "produced" with studio musicians/chorus and the addition of select on-site photography. There is no way the music could have been picked up in the open at the level of quality we hear. However, so what if it was planned ( an entire orchestra appearing out of nowhere???) - it is moving, memorable and important. Although in a way it would have been nice/interesting/refreshing to hear the true on-site sound.

The first time I watched this I hoped to share it with my mom who lived on the other side of the country on one of my regular visits, knowing she would love it. She passed away at the ripe old age of 87 before I had the chance. So every time I watch it I think of her and of all the good times I did get to share with her. Always make the effort to spend time with those you love as you never know when your last opportunity will be.
