Awwww, Anton :-/ I can tell he's tired there, and heard he got into the drink these past tours. He even says he has autism, part of his genius, his fans know. Get well soon buddy. Hug.
Dunno if that was sarcastic, but yes he’s tired yes he got it bottle and acted like a mentally ilk ‘drunkard- I watched a riveting 3-hour interview he held at a Scottish ….
RIght. The real fans know. After following BJM for so many years, there's a definite nod to insanity -of some sort It's all about the music, or we wouldn't bother. At his best, Anton's genius makes me cry. It's so real. it's so real. But drunk Anton, especially here, is just embarrassing. I feel icky. I am both angry and sad. Set aside the tour, the drama, the fans and band squabbles -- it's the music. If the music sucked, I would not be writing this. IMO, he is suffering from untreated alcoholism and mental health issues. Word from the Committee to Keep Music Evil is that Anton had a heart attack and underwent bypass and is waiting on a pacemaker. Is it true? Well, that organization had credibility. I read somewhere else that it was true and we all should just lay low and wish him the best.... Then came a conspiracy theory so absurd it just might be true: That Anton decided to HAVE open heart surgery now because he knew at some point he was going "have to have it." (How does this scenario justify the three pack a day of Camels?) The theory goes that his PR people -- Anton has PR people?-- told him now is the best time so can lay low and generate pity or forgiveness. The guy said Anton "played the heart attack card." adn wanted an apology. Sure thing, dude, coming right up. That's as crazy as he was in this clip. Let's send Anton some "get well vibes" for whatever ails him. Better hurry: "The hour is getting late," he sings. "We gotta be somewhere." The question is: "where?
He’s not an entitled white guy. He not an entitled black guy. He’s not an entitled American. He’s a true American. He and the band are the last of a dying breed. Anton worked hard. When everyone else went to the after show parties, Anton was home reading a book or watching the history channel or a documentary channel. That was how he decompressed after “work”. They earned every penny by blood, sweat and tears. Most every day he was either working out songs with his acoustic guitar or rehearsing with the band. No one gave him a handout, especially not his family. He had friends who all worked together and spent time together. You need your friends and they need you. It would serve you well to put your phone down and experience all that life has to offer, the good and the bad.
@@elisepearson207 cute narrative. Haha. Nice attempt at PR. He is a mess. That is not a guy that is not partying and reading books. He is too drunk to stand. A true American.. bitch please
I can kinda understand why Anton got pissed with the drummer, not sure who it is behind the kit but his timing is definitely off a tiny bit for a lot of the songs I noticed, it’s also sorta annoying how he’s not that good, feel like they could have picked someone better
This don't fly in 2023. Some fans were not even born when "Dig" came out - I was so glad they never knew about him because of it. Gee whiz, this band needs a break. Didn't they do South America, and then a US tour? These days, it's like seeing kinfolks go at each other JMHO. Thanks!
they are spent mentally, physically, musically and spiritually -- they need a break. This band never had good sense. They just made brilliant music. Just in 23, They went to -- where? -- Chile, then a rather long US tour and now this. Tour conditions suck... Someone is working them to death -- but Anton IS management!!!f I just hope he isn't drinking. Just saying....if you know this band's history.....you hope so too - but I don't think sol..... he's playing good, when he plays. JMHO thanks.
The older lady is the tour manager. He has grey goose in his hand so yeah he's drinking. This is an example of not being able to manage yourself let alone anyone else.its very sad@@jgwire
Oh he was drinking this tour, Vodka I saw. Huston , TX and Atlanta, GA for sure. Love this man, hope he quits drinking again. The 2023 tour was just too long, they need more days off. TOURING IS A BEAST! I just hope Anton's mental health is mending and he's doing what's best for him, CREATING. Hopefully all relationships are mending too 🙏❤️☮️
@@Diazepamber I know- that was my first reaction- I’m sober 14 years and I can’t figure out what led to his relapse- it’s useless - he’s either gonna drink or play music / be obviously can no longer do both- Age is boss now
@@belindamontgomery8693 I feel Exactly like what you just wrote- I’ve been writing reams of posts in an attempt to bring clarity and context- SOME folks care- I been studying Anton and have some perspective- But it seems nobody cares He s been off social media since this happened- very unusual- But he could turn up w a new BJM record this blows us away and all is forgiven- except I don’t think that works anymore
Love Anton, but I'm glad that Ryan stood up for himself. That Aussie tour must have been hell for the rest of the band. Think it's telling Joel split before they got to Melbourne.
I never thought of that. It's just that they are all going bald Something is amiss and it's up to management to find out and fix it-- only Anton IS management. Sit with that for a minute.
Drunk on pumpkin spice latte
The real idiots are the crowd that paid money to see this shitshow.
