    Nice, im working on this exact setup for as far as a solo "mission" goes. Are you able to save your progress?

      Yes, you can save progress as far as you modify the missionscripting.lua file as describe on the download page. This file must be modified after every DCS update. If I remember well, there's a message at mission start if persistency can't be achieved. Progress is saved in a file called footholdSyria_1.0.lua lacated in <savegames folder>\DCSOpenbeta\missions\saves. Hope that helps ;)
