the billing amount is based on our consumed unit…..and it’s calculated against current tariff slab …..an additional charge of approx 32% applied to it for various reasons…..that means if the unit amount is 1,000 …….final payable amount will be 1,300 (+/-) ……certainly everything based on our consumption…..our charges seems to be the highest in the country ……my video is sharing some kind of awareness to a common man to reduce possible misuse at our home. It’s true kseb and ksrtc are the highest paid depts and there is no history of reducing their salaries or benefits…..certainly we can blame their expenses hike and unit price hike……but at the same time our misuse and consumption also hiked at every house…..the video is highlighting and explaining a common man to understand how a unit is generated at our house based on our daily use of devices. coz I am such a person always trying to reduce misuse at my house for my own sake .Thx

any Indian working abroad are NRIs (Non Resident Indian) they all must have an NRE account (Non Resident External) either Indian rupees or foreign currency account (FCNR) and those accounts are exempted from income tax neither the balance nor the interest to encourage foreign remittances. to maintain NRI status he or she has to stay out of India for more than 182 days per year. on permanent return to homeland NRE account becomes NRO account (Non Resident Ordinary) ….in further years the yearly income generated from those accounts are taxable .

@kristell1962 That means, some conditions are to be followed, like opening NRE account, staying abroad for certain period, fund should be repatriated from outside India, income-tax returns are filed in India every year, the country from where funds are raised need to give tax excemption, ...etc. As a general rule, one may have to pay income tax.
